Bustier for office Christmas party

I'm planning to get this bustier from Zara for my office Christmas party, which is black tie/cocktail dress code. (It will come back into stock in time. It WILL.)

What would you pair it with? I'm thinking chandelier earrings not unlike the model's and maybe some wide-leg velvet trousers in a contrasting tone? Shoes? I don't want to wear heels if I can help it.

That Dm article 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I have quite large boobage and can also confirm there is not a hint of cleavage. But clearly bare shoulders is too much in this age of intolerance.

I am nearly 50, work in fashion and am booby, this top is structured and very demure on. It really needs to be tried on and you need to see wether its you. I do not condone shamim g and think any outfit worn with style will look fabulous. Have a great Christmas and party

I have been quite invested in this thread but not as much as the good citizens of Australia. They all seem to have a view on your outfit.

This story was a godsend for the DM because it contains the words BUST and BOOB, plus it invites debate on what is REVEALING.

It’s not all bad news. Some commenters (on the DM) think that the pictures of the model are pictures of you and someone called ‘Redcarman’ doesn’t think the model is you but still fancies you. I bet he’s a catch.

I just informed DH of my shoulders' endangering the morals and propriety of people on two continents and he stared at me for a while. Then I passed along Louise from Newcastle's wisdom and he laughed himself sick. He paused to observe that my jewelled slippers are utterly fabulous.

Maybe I'll gatecrash his office party on Thurs and spread my evil yet further. 😇

I havent RTFT because of the danger of corruption to my soul but I really NEED to know where the slippers come from? (I need to look them up so I can be fully outraged)

@thebabessavedme they are by Kurt Geiger and there are several designs - but warning, they are pricey...
