Bustier for office Christmas party

I'm planning to get this bustier from Zara for my office Christmas party, which is black tie/cocktail dress code. (It will come back into stock in time. It WILL.)

What would you pair it with? I'm thinking chandelier earrings not unlike the model's and maybe some wide-leg velvet trousers in a contrasting tone? Shoes? I don't want to wear heels if I can help it.

You've focused me on outfit planning for my Christmas party. We are playing crazy golf at the start so need something vaguely practical but that doesn't preclude me from buying some fabulous earrings and new shoes. Feeling a heeled shoe-boot might be needed as I have a midi dress.

I love jewelled, chandelier earrings - garnet, sapphire or ruby coloured ones would look amazing with this, to contrast with the green of the shoes.

Y'know, an unexpected benefit of posting this thread is that when I hit the dancefloor in my bustier, I really will be feeling how dangerously saucy my shoulders are now

Well. The Zara online stock-checker just led me on a wild goose chase down Oxford St.

But there was one in my size on Vinted, so I've bought it, and the earrings!

Unfortunately you have to get those KG shoes because the outfit together is going to be knockout and you'll be the best dressed there by a mile 💁🏻‍♀️

Size S has come back in stock 🤩 I’ve ordered one, I hope it fits (online calculator says it should).

I was thinking I'd just paid (slightly) over the odds for a bird in the hand on Vinted, but if it was back in on Zara's site, it's out again already! I ordered the S too, it looks like the right size. Fx.

Haven't bought the shoes yet. It's dangerous to have you lot blowing smoke up my arse when my credit card is handy!

@astronewt It was late last night when I saw it back in stock and just went for it. It was the only size that had come available. Sorry I didn’t think to inform here straigh away as you had already managed to find one.

Ah that's OK, it's just sod's law that my size would come back into stock literally immediately as soon as I gave up on the in-store system and my nerve failed on waiting..!

If it helps you at all I have 2 pairs of the KG sliders, 1 with lobster embellishment and the eye one you posted.
They fit like a glove, super comfortable and always get a great response whenever I wear them.
I can't help but smile whenever I have them on.

My bustier arrived today, super fast I say! It fits like a glove 😍 I’m size 8 and I got S. I’m over the moon it fits so well! Thanks again @astronewt for bringing this beautiful garment to my attention.

I’m planning to wear it on Saturday for our annual neighbour’s xmas dinner. They are quite glamorous bunch so I shouldn’t look out of place wearing this. Haven’t quite decided what to wear as bottoms and shoes yet. If I’ll manage to get a nice pic, I’ll post it here.

Word of warning though ⚠️ you will need an assistant to zip it up. I found it very difficult to do it myself. But I do have a tennis elbow so it may have made it worse.
