@MidnightMeltdown I’m having the same problem.

Niche beauty advent is now 25% off, and for a small extra spend you qualify for the current GWP.

If there’s a Liberty offer- I’ll probably sway.

I can’t remember another year where the lux calendars were in stock at this stage.

I’ve never used Vinted. Is it worth it with the postal charges though?

You can make offers to sellers below their asking price so you can factor in the postage costs, plus you can buy bundles from certain sellers to save on postage. If I’m selling I set the initial price based on the buyer needing to pay it on top.

That's not bad for the Elle calendar. Definitely a more realistic price.

Had another look at Harrods and I think that the boy smells candle is a mini. Also did some research on the Rodial blush drops that I was interested in, and it looks like they are very shimmery, so I probably won't like them after all.

I won't buy Harrods unless I can get it discounted. There are too many small items and I think that one of the drawers is just a single pair of under eye patches. That's not on when you're paying £250.

Has anyone looked at Space NK grift with purchase? It works with the advent calendar. Can't decide if the gift it really good or if it's just a load of unusable tiny sample sizes I won't use!! I'd be intrigued to try the 111 skin serum though, purely on the basis that it retails for over £200 so isn't something I would even dream of buying!!

The gwp is really poor imo. But the candle is nice I suppose. I've had a few bits of 111 in gwps and i haven't been impressed with any.

Debenhams Advent now £54 . A lot of smaller sample size products but probably competitively priced with advents such as Marks and Spencer now so maybe worth a look if you are looking around this price point

Same! I already have one, but if there's a discount on Sephora I'm going to struggle to resist.

@Solscat I think it's a bit of both. Some nice things but the sizes are too small (GWP and ditto the advent). If you fancied the Space NK then I think the discount and GWP makes it very tempting, but it's not doing it for me.

Hi @Solscat I have just received the space NK GWP. I’m pleased with it, especially the jo loves log fires full size candle and the Amika hair mask (love amika products). I stocked up on things on I really wanted plus trying rare beauty make up for the first time so made the £250 spend. I’m putting the GWP in my empty fortnums advent box from last year. For me the gwp was worth it as none of the advent calendars have appealed so was better to buy what I really wanted and enjoy a free gift. As zeeza said there are lots of small sizes but lots of the advents have small sizes too but you are actually paying for them unlike a free gift. Plus when the GWP arrived it did have a lot in and was pretty weighty. I will use everything too. Although I am very bored of Paula’s choice appearing in everything 😂

Just had an email link offering £25 off Cult Beauty (who'd believe it?!!). It's a click through link not a code, but if anyone's interested might be worth checking your emails.

I have M & S for myself, but will look out for any fantastic reductions as I'm eyeing the JL Advent I bought for DD with envy!

I've just seen an Instagram and saying the code ADVENTLORNA will get you the Look Fantastic AC for £85

You know I posted that code above just before I looked at the LF calendar and honestly I doubt I'd pay £50 for it, I'm actually quite unimpressed.

I got the Marks and Spencer’s one last year . First ever beauty advent . Was lead astray by Mumsnetters !

I can’t afford £200 , but was tempted by the Glossybox or Sephora ones .
