If you still want an M&S one, better cross your fingers and hurry - they're now (allegedly) only available in-store, but having rung my local (large) M&S yesterday and was told they had 'loads', I went in today to find not a one. The member of staff I spoke to (I think she was stationed in the Beauty section solely to break the news to disappointed calendar seekers!) said she was annoyed that someone from the shop had told me they had them in, as they've been out of stock in-store for days.

I might ring around another couple but suspect that's it for me. I should have pounced in late October but thought 'I've got other things I need to spend on, it's the end of the month, I'll do it in November'. Oh well. I've not got the budget or the will to buy any of the spendier ones - I was attracted to the M&S one last year because it seemed really good value.

There are loads in my (large) local M&S too. I'm still dithering about getting it as a Christmas present for DD. I'm wondering why they've taken it off the website? Frustrating that you can't now read the reviews from people that opened it early!

Well put it this way if my teen DD was in her twenties I would get her the M&S AC as it's really good.
But at the moment it's too old for her iyswim.

From what ive seen i would say a Body Shop one or a Revolution one for a teen.

I succumbed to the JL one when they had the offer to get the Beauty Radiance Box. I’ve been away for a couple of weeks and was contemplating sending them both back as I really don’t need any more beauty products but got home yesterday after a tough couple of weeks and decided to open the Radiance set. Really liked it. Love the perfumes which I haven’t tried before. I’m not entirely sure it’s worth £190 but as a ‘freebie’ it was nice.

Looking forward to December now for the JL opening.

I see Space NK finally sold out after a hefty discount and free gift. Think all the rest are going to have to do similar to sell them before December. I think they all overpriced this year and were generally underwhelming . Plus none of them factored in the current financial situation. Lots of revision needed for next year!

Anyone know if Aldi are doing an advent calendar ?

What did you go for teen DD? I’m looking for something for my niece around 50ish.

Thanks all for the Elle code, it’s decent value for that, I got two for my DDs in their twenties. They’ve previously had Mac and LF, I try and stay around 100-120ish but have to work hard not to cave in and get the very alluring top dogs in the genre!!

Don't think so. Americans blogged about a 12 days caviar set but I don't know if it would be available in the UK. There was a similar set last tear in addition to AC.

I did a post about Aldi on here and someone said they did an advent calendar and shared a link to a website talking about it. I clicked the page and you could put in email to get updates when in stock. Tried to do that and it said sold out . So it might have been last year . It wasn’t the Aldi site.

Also looks like it was a caviar AC. I’d love a mixed AC from Aldi ! Get gold of products that are never in stock .

The previous aldi skincare AC I saw was just a few of the same products repeated four or five times or something. And the saving compared to rrp of normal products wasn't much. So not terrible, but not that exciting either.

Yes last year they had a mixed one.
The caviar is a set but I don't know if they'd do it in the UK this year. They did last year.
In fact, last year they had loads of different sets and bundles throughout autumn through to January and during the year they had some best seller mixed sets available online.
Not much happened during 2022.
Not sure if they are scaling down, it's annoying when you don't know what will they bring back particular products.
I bought 10 black rose sets last winter as I quite like that line and no idea when it will come back. They still had in stock for ages on that one weeks later. It was not available online.
And I don't go in the store often so real hit and miss.
The Q10 serum which I love hasn't been available for a very long time and it used to be a permanent in store product.

I still haven't ordered an AC this year, really undecided. Was very tempted by LIB, then chickened out.

Sephora or Liberty are also tempting.

They all seem quite pricey this year.

I bought the Harrods AC…not super exciting, but everything I’ll use bar the Ren and CT red lipstick…I’ll gift them.
I do think that they need to be more generous with more niche brands next year. Best buy for me was the Harrods perfume advent.
I’m done now….roll on December as I haven’t opened any yet 😊

Previous years NAP seemed to be popular but haven't seen anyone buying it this year. £260 is a lot.

The Holland & Barratt one is down to £40 with code ADVENT as part of their Black Friday sales. I'm a tiny bit tempted as I've had it the past couple of years and really liked it but this year, there's just too much that I don't want or am not overly fussed about.
Still a great deal for someone though!
