Thank you @Adventadventures

@Bananaman123 thats amazing, how did you manage to get Glossybox so low?

I wish I’d found this thread sooner.

Code BF30 gives 30% off Cosmetics boxes. I think it makes Lydia Millen's box really good value but don't think the products will personally work for my dark skin.

I've also not seen MINTD mentioned much here, I got the 2021 advent calendar in April this year for £80. It was half price from around new year but I managed to hold out for a real bargain!

Adventadventures · 24/11/2022 16:44

Wow @TreesinthePark that looks amazing I will defiantly be adding that to my Stalk list . Too expensive for me at the moment but Definitely worth tracking for a bargain

Adventadventures · 24/11/2022 16:54

@Bananaman123 what were your favourite products from LIB? Have you tried the SK eye serum rollerball or Mauli Hair Oil. Are they any good?

These are the items which are tempting me at the moment.

doublecleansed · 24/11/2022 17:11

Do Fortnum ever reduce stuff? They don't seem like the type of shop that would - but wondering what will happen to their advents if they don't shift them before next week. The Fortnum beauty one always used to sell out so fast - they only used to make 1000 I think (maybe that will be what shops/brands do again next year - make them more limited).

It's actually another Fortnum's calendar I'm dreaming of...the Feasting one! Currently £200...eek.

I am quite tempted by this Fenwick's food one, now £100 - but the Fortnum one looks epic.

I had Space NK last year and was extremely disappointed with it. For some reason I find myself looking at it now even though it only has a tiny discount.

A few of the items were sample size with ‘free sample not for resale’ written on them and I can see they’re repeated again this year.

polmnlj · 24/11/2022 17:36

I hope Fortnum will because theirs and Harrods calendars are the ones I am interested.

Couperi · 24/11/2022 17:42

If Fortnum reduce I'll probably get it.

PomRuns · 24/11/2022 17:57

I will try not to buy anymore but Fortnums and Liberty are both tempting.

I felt the same and haven’t shopped at space nk since. They lost a loyal customer as a result of that calendar.

MerryChristmasToYou · 24/11/2022 18:10

@PomRuns , they are unlikely to reduce it, and there's a free postage offer on now. It's a lot of money but the products are full size.

PomRuns · 24/11/2022 18:23

@MerryChristmasToYou I don’t need either. Next year I’ll just pick one (I really will!!!)
I had fortnums last year - was lovely. Liberty for 6 years I think - so nice to have JL and LIB this year , mainly new things for me to try.

MerryChristmasToYou · 24/11/2022 18:29

I got the H&B one. Not overly expensive, and with products I know I'll use, with a few I'd quite like to try but probably wouldn't have bought otherwise. Will probably rifle through it for stocking fillers for others. A bit lacking in the indulgence stakes but dependable.

There wasn't much I fancied in the F&M one, but I did like that they were full size, and it looks so fancy, but at that price I'd prefer a hamper.

MerryChristmasToYou · 24/11/2022 18:30

Dare I look at the Liberty one? Grin

PomRuns · 24/11/2022 18:31

Liberty was very good this year. Do look !!!

MerryChristmasToYou · 24/11/2022 18:32

I looked but although it looks lovely I think I've got enough already

CountryCob · 24/11/2022 19:09

I had that Space NK too, it was annoying to have clear samples. The latest in beauty offer is much better, I can’t believe it hasn’t sold out. Don’t think as many companies will bother next year. Also feeling a bit like Marie Antoinette buying expensive beauty products when there is clearly a massive consumer slow down. I agree the retail offering is good and last year these would most likely have sold out long ago. Am tempted to keep LinB in loft as have got a lot of products to go through. I do need to back off the beauty purchases and use my own up, it is a good motivation for that

Housewife2010 · 24/11/2022 19:49

Fenwick's is £117. Lots of small items but full size Votary cream, Tilbury lipstick and two interesting perfumes. 2 samples at checkout too.

Pinenu · 24/11/2022 19:59

Has anyone ever returned anything with LiB and if so, is it easy to do?

Zeeza · 24/11/2022 20:10

I've never had to. Everything I've ever had from LiB has been exactly as described. But I did have a billing snafu once, and they sorted it quickly.

I’m seriously coveting that blanket!

I couldn't find it, can you share a link? Thanks

Couperi · 24/11/2022 20:50

Harrods down to £225

MostDefinitelynotanAthlete · 24/11/2022 20:56

So I've just discovered that if you sign up for Harrods rewards, you get an extra 10% off the calander which brings it down to £202.50. They've also thrown in a free lotion. The extra 10% is only until Monday though!
