@Branster Yes the price seems to vary. I bought the Lookfantastic advent for £19.99 from there yesterday afternoon as a flash sale. When I went back in the evening it had gone up again. I wasn't impressed originally by LF but I had to succumb at that price. There's a full size Espa moisturiser worth £55 in it.

Seeing as I really don’t need another and posters have mentioned half price sales in December, I’m considering waiting.

Do calendars generally get heavily discounted in December?

Not sure about December, but I managed to get Net a Porter half price in January

I think it was reduced a bit in Dec, and then dropped down to half price in Jan. It was better than this years offering too!

Wow that tempts me. But January is so far away.

Is there a chance though that December/January won’t see the same discounts as previous years because this is the first time we’re seeing big discounts in November?

I think it’s very hard to predict anything this year @Pinenu as the economic climate is so different to other years. And different to when retailers started planning so I think it will depend on if they seem to be getting left with lots of stock. It’s interesting that Cult Beauty normally sells out really quickly but not this year whereas M&S sold out as it’s at a much lower price point.

Yes @Peridot1 I'm usually too slow to even catch CB available for sale never mind discounted. It feels like a very strange year.

Apologies if anyone else has already mentioned but £10 of Hearst magazines products if using an Amex (and saving the offer to your card) - makes the Elle calendar £99-£10=£89.. how am I meant to resist now??
On the other hand.. still £89 I could spend on a couple of things I really want/need.

I've been lurking for ages trying to decide on a calendar, decided to try and hold out for a deal as December got closer. Caved on the LiB deal today hope the mystery box is good!

Can someone who gets the LiB calendar come back and tell us what’s in the free beauty box? Because not knowing stuff like that kills me for some reason.

Right? I'm wondering if it is going to be the beauty box they were giving free last time. Or the one with the ghost perfume oooh. Or even better the skincare edit which they've just pulled for some reason.

I think a lot of companies are going to go to the wall over the next year. They are selling pretty good products at not awful prices and they just aren't shifting.

They use responsibly sourced wool too, so no cruelty which is a part of the wool industry in other countries where some British retailers source their wool.

I bought three pairs from them! And got a free pair for my first order. Two Christmas presents taken care of plus my own feet.

I got the lambs wool socks free with my first order (quite a generous treat isn’t it?). Enjoy 🙂

I am spending my AC allotment. Just bought Shay&Blue Black Friday set for £40. Previously bought H&B. It starts to look like I don't anything left for a calendar... well if there is 50% off Harrods I find the money somewhere.

@Zeeza I doubt that LIB will include the Skincare edit as the free box as that was only released a couple of weeks ago. I think it will be the Caroline Barnes one which has been around for a long time. It is a very good box though.

Or the Stye Summer essentials which was a recent freebie and again is very good.

Is the LiB offer for today only do we know?

Tempted by LiB mainly because of the free box. Wonder if CB will go lower than £200? Selfridges seems to have had no discount yet.

I now have 2 LIB advents 😁 already opened my original one and using the products, such amazing value. Also got look fantastic and glossy box down to 36 at one point. I am not buying anymore, I am not buying anymore……
