Does anyone know if you can return an unopened JL advent calendar? I’m tempted to return my full-price calendar and reorder with the 15% off!

25% top cash back at LF today applies to the advent calendar (already reduced with 15% plus EXTRA10 to £72). Makes the calendar £54!

@MidnightMeltdown I too watched an unboxing of Harrods yesterday and am lusting after this now but there is definitely no room in the Inn for any more beauty products even with all the bargains around

It depends when you bought it. If it was in the last 35 days then you don't need to return it. John Lewis should price match it.

I’m starting to get tempted by Glossybox, the palette in the 25th box and a few other bits were worth the calendar for me last year.

Went to my nearest M&S this morning, they still had AC. I’m resisting though. They also had some Clinique boxes that looked good, there was one for £50 reduced from £100 with a £40 100h moisture surge. I might get one of those.

@MidnightMeltdown , I thought JL had stopped it’s Never Knowingly Undersold guarantee? I’m off to investigate and will report back…

@MidnightMeltdown , yes, you are right! JL will now not price match with its competitors but it will refund the difference on its own products if they’re subsequently reduced! Claim being submitted right now. I’m really happy as I managed to order the free Winter Radiance Box with my AC. Fifteen per cent off the AC price will make me very happy indeed.

They have, but they still do it for their own products if the price drops within the 35 day return window I think.

It wouldn't make much sense for them not to, as people would just return and repurchase.

Note to self....don't fall for the hype and buy early next year. I bought Clinique and its 20% off today. Slightly takes the shine off it 🙄

I am only buying JL if it's 50% off. That pretty much goes with every calendar I am interested in.

@CorporateBull the same! . Trying to be philosophical about it though. The advent could have sold out and I really wanted it so that is the premium I paid for the surety of getting it. And at the time I thought £12 off was a good deal. I am still happy with it (although would have been been more happy with 25% off!)

Thanks for the heads up on the price match refund on the JL calendar @MidnightMeltdown. I got it with the Radiance Beauty gift so wasn’t feeling too bad about the discount but submitted a claim on line anyway. Every little helps as they say!

£54 isn't bad for LF. I do like the salt scrub in that.

Got the JL now, so thanks for that. I need to reign it in now though as I’ve got enough to keep me going for a good couple of years. Have the SpaceNK, H&B (with coupons and vouchers I got it for around £28), L’Occitaine, M&S and now JL (which has loads of my staples I’m just running out of). I’ve got my eye on a Rituals but I won’t buy it without a discount. Figure I won’t have to buy all year next year now. And I certainly won’t be buying any at full price next year!

Ah but you might benefit from a discount on a calendar that someone else bought right away. I paid full price for Cult Beauty 😏

I reckon that I now have enough products to last me until 2025 😂
