For those people with 12 day advent calendars - when do you actually open them? Do you start on 1st December? Or start on 13th/14th to take you to Christmas Day or Christmas Eve? Or do you do the 12 days of Christmas from Christmas Day?

I've never had one, but I would totally do the 12 days of Christmas.

I had 12 day calendar last year and I planned to open as 12 days of Xmas but I was so busy so forgot. I opened it in one go in January.

H&B is my basket now £35. They have some spin thing you can win reductions on their page. It starts to look tempting now. Two years ago H&B was good, last year not so much.

Oooh JL is very tempting at that price. Thing is, I watched a Harrods unboxing last night and now I think that I want that after all 😳

Oh that's interesting. Are you using two discount codes? In the past they haven't allowed for code stacking with the calendars.
I wonder is retailers are wanting to shift calendars now...do JL normally reduce or is that unusual this year?

My Degustabox calendar has just arrived and I've had a sneaky peak at the booklet to see what's in it - lots of interesting things! I really enjoy this calendar!

@Roundaboot I thought I got code working as they hadn't changed the price to £35 on their front page but now they have changed to £35.

@polmnlj yeah, just had a look and they won't let you use a discount code on the calendar or any of the beauty boxes, which is a shame as I got the max 25%

Annoying re JL. The earlier purchasers have been disadvantaged this year - retailers are risking alienating the repeat buyers (ie beauty product addicts !!)
