The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

I would imagine more people would be waiting for black Friday/cyber Monday this year for deals so I think it will take longer for most to sell out.

I’ve had a quick look on my JL calendar. I find it a bit disappointing so may take it back.

I caved and bought the JL calendar 😆 It arrived today. I’ve had a peek in all the drawers and I’m absolutely delighted! It’s gorgeous. I’ve tucked it away carefully and will enjoy opening it in December.

Also here’s something broken in the candle drawer. 😟

M&S advent calendar on sale tomorrow, I was going to buy one as I’ve had one for the last few years BUT I’m now tempted by the John Lewis one! It’s considerably more and I don’t know if I can justify spending so much on myself! Does anyone know if they get reduced for Black Friday? Do they often sell out?

@Dailymash it sold out last year but this year has been a really slow year and advents are being discounted already . If you are a JL card holder they often do discounts on spends above a certain amount, so worth joining I got mine with a discount this way a few weeks ago

Selfridges calendar has sold out already and looked reasonably decent. I'm hoping they may get some more back in stock as they've not removed the listing.

Watched an unboxing for M&S. Aside from having 2 nail polishes, a black eyeliner, and the same lip product as last year, it looks quite good.

Birchbox subscribers can get an extra discount from the advent calendar - they're currently selling it for £49. I didn't have to add any code for that - it just turned up when I logged in to make sure my auto-renew was off.

Oooh i just logged out and it was still 49! so you don't have to be a subscriber it appears - you only see the discount in the checkout though :)

I’m a loyal JL customer but missed out on the discount - at that time I was still determined not to get any calendar. But I’ve bought it now full price because genuinely I’d feel disappointed if it sold out, and it’s worth it to me!
