Mine is Dermalogica Precleanse. Actually Dermalogica products have changed my life. I'd always had bad skin, now it's pretty amazing.

I'd love a good shampoo/conditioner recommendation.

Monkeytrousers · 25/01/2008 15:35

I get my dermalogica from ebay.

flowerybeanbag · 25/01/2008 15:44

I just ordered some of that cleanse and polish stuff as you are all raving about it, hope it's good!

southeastastra · 25/01/2008 15:45

wig and sunglasses

milkmoustache · 25/01/2008 18:22

I bought 8 hour cream as everyone raves about it and am mightily disappointed - all it can do is tame my eyebrows! I tried it overnight and looked like an oil slick the next day. Plus the smell is rank.

Fave product is Dream Cream by Lush. Yum!

flowerybeanbag · 25/01/2008 18:33

milkmoustache you just prompted me to recommend this for taming eyebrows, it's fab!

princessmel · 25/01/2008 18:34

Vaseline for my lips. Apply it all day long and am lost without it.

Nivea soft.

hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 18:35

I am currently using the children's Halos N Horns shampoo and conditioner - no parabens or sodium laureth sulphate - and I've had SO many compliments about my hair! Feels v soft and gorgeous.

You can get it in Tesco and it's v cheap. The body wash is lovely too.

Touche Eclat. Always and forever.

tyaca · 25/01/2008 18:48

with all the touche eclat'ers here. really is a must have.

monkey trousers - i'd second ultrabland. fantastic stuff. gets so much london grime out of my face and keeps it so soft, which is a miracle for my flakey patchy face.

estee lauder's idealist gets a second vote for me here. insane how good that stuff is. people comment... like my DH asks if i'm wearing slap, or i remember when i just got it and my sis --not knowing - started gushing about how good my skin had got.

and finally.... cant recommend highly enough prescriptives traceless. it's a skin tint, apparently, basically a light foundation. best base i have ever used.

krugerparkrules · 25/01/2008 19:47

When i can afford it my favourite products are -

YSL - mascara - great stuff (also lancome, but since using YSL, have become a believer!)

MAC lipstick - favourite colour Brave or Desire

Clarins foundation

Tri-Aktiline wrinkle filler. Real magic.

Monkeytrousers · 25/01/2008 20:40

Not tried both soz. What's the ingredients to Lz Earle? Great thing about Ultrabland is that it has no mineral oils, perfumes, etc, so no irritants.

Monkeytrousers · 25/01/2008 20:41

I'd also recommend using a muslin cloth with ultrabland, not the cotton wool as it says on the tub.

FrayedKnot · 25/01/2008 20:49

I am currently using Logona Age Protection Anti Wrinkle Fluid and it really seems to be having a positive effect... you can get the range from Spirit of Nature. I've had no breakouts since using it, either.

Posey · 25/01/2008 20:51

Might have to have a look at the Liz Earle stuff after all these recommendations.

I'm a big fan of No7 Protect and Perfect. I had quite a furrow between my eyebrows and lines on my forehead which are all but gone since I started using it. My mum commented on how young I was looking (she didn't know I was using anything new, and isn't given to complimenting willynilly) so it must be good stuff.

Got to say though that the single best thing I ever did for my skin was pack up smoking (but that wasn't the question was it?)

Heathcliffscathy · 25/01/2008 20:53

Chanel indomitable (i think) mascara.

lengthens, curls and NO clogging. is the best mascara i've ever owned by a country mile (thanks to my sis who go it for me for xmas!)

x

Pyracantha · 25/01/2008 21:00

I bloody hate Touche Eclat! Its a tube of broken promises. You clearly dont have dark circles like mine. too little, useless, enough, look bizare. am I using it wrong?

Heathcliffscathy · 25/01/2008 21:05

i've just gone and bought liz earle stuff

hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 21:07

Aw, get you all talking about posh stuff and I said I was using kids' shampoo

Tutter · 25/01/2008 21:07
