Saw the new Menopause skincare range advertised and was interested as a woman of certain age 😉

Jesus wept though, £32 for the plainest tube of cream ever! Ok they're doing 3 for 2 but still!

Is that not really expensive or am I desperately out of touch?

I am ignoring the menopause. I can't be arsed with it and am lucky because so take so much sertraline, it's hard to feel anything but ok these days

I don't want a bloody bottle in the bathroom which has cost money which could have been spent on Botox and advertises that I am getting on a bit.

Wedding cakes are not ten times the price due to a mark up. They’re more expensive because they take much, much longer to make, and are usually bigger so use more ingredients. What a strangely inaccurate example to use!

Some of that is true, but you can't ignore that anything with "wedding" attached costs premium prices,be it cake,flowers, venue hire etc,and most of that is not down to extra ingredients.
