It's like rummaging through the best charity shop ever .

Somebody stop me .....

No judgement here!

Favourite absolutely everything you like, then wait to come back to it tomorrow or the next day so you can talk yourself down from the mad-shark-attack-bargain-frenzy ledge. Often sellers will make you an offer within a few hours anyway, so it’s worth calming down.

It’s waaaaaay too easy to fall into the rabbit hole tho - I sometimes find I’ve been browsing for hours 😱 but oh the bargains I have found!

MarisPiper92 · 15/08/2022 22:32

I've just done the same and have bought some cowboy boots.

ShesThunderstorms · 15/08/2022 22:41

I'm an addict too. I just can't stop!

Lovetok · 15/08/2022 22:43

much easier than eBay.

stillvicarinatutu · 15/08/2022 22:45

Hahaha me too.... my husband is wondering why the postman keeps showing up 🙈

Dolallytats · 15/08/2022 23:02

Not going to stop you, I love Vinted!! I've bought football boots for DS, boots for DD, school uniform in sizes that are out of stock in shops. I even bought a squishmallow toy, brand new, for DD's friend that was out of stock everywhere but ebay, who were selling it for at least £30. I got it on Vinted for £9 plus fees and delivery!! I was chuffed and so surprised to find it. It's one of my first go to shops now.

stillvicarinatutu · 15/08/2022 23:05

I've got clothes I need to sell...like ball gown cruise black tie stuff that I'll never wear again ....

But buying is toooooo easy !

I have to say I'm addicted also.

Fozzleyplum · 15/08/2022 23:10

Is Vinted better than Ebay? Asking for a friend...

ethelredonagoodday · 15/08/2022 23:14

It is addictive.

stillvicarinatutu · 15/08/2022 23:19

Vinted is like having a proper rummage around the best charity shops ever ....

I'm praying for me

Dear Vinted who art a heaven
Hallowed be thy bargains
Thy kindgdom come
Thy will be done on eBay
As it is in Vinted
Give us this day our daily bargains
And forgive us our purchases
As we forgive those who bid against us
And lead us not into eBay
Deliver us from royal mail
For thine is the kingdom of all shops (even charity shops )
The power and the glory
Be Vinted for ever
Amen

I have fallen down the Vinted rabbit hole .

Oh I love it too. I'm on a low income and even I can treat myself once a month to something lovely. This month it was a beautiful immaculate Mint Velvet bag for £7, last month a Hush tunic for a tenner (with tags!). It's just amazing.

stillvicarinatutu · 15/08/2022 23:26

Pray for me . 🙏

There’s a Vinted delivery every other day here! A beautiful Bottega Veneta dress today, for the amazing price of £20!!!!

Lostinpari · 15/08/2022 23:37

It’s addictive!! Absolutely love it. Just to see what crap people sell. It’s great.

RunningFromInsanity · 15/08/2022 23:47

Thrifted is also a good site, some are expensive but you can pick up vintage designer for a steal

FlyingSaucerss · 16/08/2022 00:03

I like vinted but I find people take too long to post on there unlike eBay where most people post next day

MondayMoan · 16/08/2022 00:08

Thank you for this thread. I've been trying to track down a specific Squishmallow and I've finally found it on Vinted. Never thought of looking there.

theshadeofgreen · 16/08/2022 12:52

Can someone just clear this up... if you see something on Vinted and click on buy, do you get it? It's not an auction like eBay, the price you see is what you pay?

Candleabra · 16/08/2022 12:55

Yep

Candleabra · 16/08/2022 12:56

You can make offers though

MoriaRoseForever · 16/08/2022 13:16

Is it better than eBay and in what way ?

is it good for selling as well as buying ?

LoveLarry · 16/08/2022 13:21

I mainly sell and love it.

It's so straightforward

I only sell decent stuff though. If it is not in good condition it goes in the Cash for Clothes pile

I do have cheap prices though as I'd rather get rid so manage to sell most of what is on

You still get time wasters who bid for a bundle and they get 5 days to get back to you
