Is the Boots website basically unusable for anyone else?

Everytime I search for something, it makes me sign in... then it tells me I'm signed in elsewhere... then when I try to pay, I have to keep signing in again and again!

Is it just me?

I stopped using the boots site precisely for this reason. Fortunately I have a small boots just down the road who will order things in for me.

It’s dreadful. The app is terrible too. Very few makeup items available in the colours I wanted. Tried to buy Clinique because they had an offer on and got booted off so many times that I went direct to the Clinique website instead!

Omg yes! I ordered something this week. I tried on the app and it was so slow then it deleted my whole basket. Took me ages to even log in and had to reset my password. I read somewhere recently they're shutting a lot of stores and trying to drive people to online only...sounds like it could be RIP Boots if that happens

I bought a couple of things this morning and the only way I could pay for them was using my Paypal account. When I tried to pay using a credit/debit card there was no link to a card payment. Very frustratring ....... thought it was only me.

It's horrendous and takes absolutely ages to make a purchase. I usually give up unless it's something I desperately want that only Boots sell or have a good offer on.

Boots website isn't as bad as the Pets at Home one. When I used to buyy dogs food from them I'd have to set aside 30 minutes.

Yes! the website and app both so slow, I have the same issue with having to keep signing in. I only used to use them because of the points and Ive had so many ongoing problems with connecting the points to my account and/or my card which may or may not now be virtual - they keep telling me there is no longer a physical card, its all on the app then keep sending new cards in the post and none of these options allows me to use points. Total waste of time, Ive given up with Boots now

I found that if I signed in then used the back arrow a couple of times, it seemed to realise that I was actually signed in
Took forever though for me to try that !

I’ve switched to Superdrug. It never lets me pay as it comes up with some unsolvable error every time about ‘nickname too short’.

You can’t use their gift cards online either! We got a few gift cards for Boots when we had our baby and could only use them instore, and our local Boots branch isn’t the best in terms of stock.

Just tried to buy some items in the £10 Tuesday offer.
Website was horrendously slow and when I went to check out one item (No7 eyes and lips bundle) was out of stock!
I am almost sure that bundle will be available again in the next few weeks, so not really out of stock.
Grump over 😆 but it is really annoying, such a waste of time waiting for pages to load, ugh!

It's soooo bad. The search bar is terrible but so is the filter down option. It always seems to be missing a category section so you could filter say L'Oréal hair stuff into shiny products or blonde products or volumising products but not filter by something as basic as just shampoo products. And it's so hard to just look at 'all' if you want to browse everything a company sells.
I've stuck with it for the points offers but it's a painful process most of the time.

I had to delete the app because it kept telling me my Boots card was invalid. Website worked ok.

I feel like I'm definitely in the minority here. I use the website fairly frequently and have never been asked to sign back in. I can order everything quickly and easily and they usually deliver before the expected date. No problems with the app either.

I went into a boots branch this afternoon. At first glance the shelves looked stocked, but if you looked at the shelves from the side each slot was only a couple of items deep. The store only had a junior (who didn't seem to know anything) and a pharmacist who was rushed off her feet.
FWIW- a relative has just left a job at another branch. The relative is a pharmacy assistant and was spending increasingly more time on the shop floor rather than out back helping prepare prescriptions.
