Why do they make white pants?

Am I the only one who hates white pants? They show up everything and I never like to wear them just in case. Yet so many packs of pants will have at least one white pair.

Does anyone actually like them?

I can't imagine buying white pants, or white bras tbh. Drives me nuts when M&S sells pairs of bras and there'll be a white one in there.

But my mil wears only white underwear.

Those multipacks with patterned ones - what bra do you wear with them? I always think plain black go with any black bra, same for white/nude - although I’m with you on white.

Tbf black knickers can be problematic

No, you’re not meant to wear white for this. You’re meant to wear skin toned.

I never wear white knickers for the same reasons as you. Black 90% of the time. Nude occasionally if I’m wearing something light coloured.

I prefer white underwear. I can't say why but it feels like it is something to do with being able to see that they really are clean. People whose white pants have stains in them probably haven't cleaned them properly.

That said, I do wear other colours too, but there is something fresh and savoury about white underwear.

Savoury is the wrong word. I meant wholesome.

Hate white underwear. They just turn grey in a couple of washes.

🤦I see what you mean . Surely though stains are stains whatever colour pants you wear.

And I never buy a multi pack that has any white ones in it.

Me neither!! I started a thread about pacts at the weekend. Someone found my ideal pants - except they only came in multipacks with 50% white!

I wore only white pants during my entire pregnancy.

I wanted to be able to see anything that came out as I was super anxious due to a previous loss.

I'd do it again, but wouldn't wear them ordinarily.

Meant to? Who says? There is no rule book. People can wear what they like. They will buy what they want and white obviously still sells.

I will wear white or flesh colour. Both work. Both can fade in the wash. Flesh can look horrible if the tone clashes with your actual flesh. Never had a problem with white showing through but I don't buy trousers in flimsy material and if dress material were thin I would wear a slip.

I clicked on the thread and realised you are talking about knickers😅....where i am in NW England, 'pants' are trousers.... everyone else has a white pair of 'pants' for the summer round here

@skoda I nearly always wear black and never have visible stains. I guess all paler colours would still stain though

Because your vagina is naturally acidic.

So healthy is my acidic fanny that the gussets of my black knickers never stay black for long. So annoying.

I only ever wear white pants. They never stain even if I leak on my period. I just use persil bio.

I love white pants and my perfect pack would have 2 white, 2 black and 2 nude.

@Staryflight445 white knickers are skin toned for me - I have the complexion of a vampire, particularly on the areas that don’t get the sun! 🤣
