I have ordered too much! Stepping away from the iPad now.

So have i @Snowyowl78 ! After posting what i ordered i then went and bought loads more, i have actually "borrowed" from my savings to cover it until i know what the final tally is. 😳

And i think i went to bed feeling a mixture of excitement and guilt, and then dreamed that the government wrote to me informing me i couldn't keep my purchases. In my dream i was busy trying to work out how i could trick them, when they then announced i could keep everything ..... not my most crypitic and coded dream!

@dudsville hooray! That means you can keep it all :) I was running through my previous orders trying to find what size I bought in a jumper previously at full price, there were many many orders! I plan to send some stuff back anyway….maybe..

@Snowyowl78 I've ordered the lichen jacket on your rec. Can I ask what the fit is like?

@faustina i am basically a size 14 on top, I ordered the 12 and the 14 and sent the 14 back as it was quite big, particularly on the shoulders, so I would size down probably?

@Snowyowl78 - thank you! I never know with jackets from Toast - have made so many mistakes in the past. Hopefully this one will fit!

I've also ordered far too much.....I have justified this to myself in these ways:

a - some of items I have ordered in two sizes, to see which is best, so I'll be returning some of it that way
b - it's no different to taking lots things into a changing room in a shop
c - I use the PayPal pay in three facility, so then I pay one third up front. Then they deduct the value of returns off of the remaining two payments, which are then much cheaper than the first
d - three separate orders makes the overall total cost feel smaller.....

I know, I know.........

@AmethystMoonShine excellent logic. I also think, if nobody saw your parcel arrive, did it even happen??

@AmethystMoonShine I followed the exact same logic as you, although split into two different orders. I ordered:
The red jacket
Brick coloured pyjamas (have been lusting after these since they came out)
The vine print dress
The Edith dress in orange. Regretted not buying it in the last sale. Am wearing the similar burgundy one today and love it.
The circle neck chambray top
The fruit picking basket. Just because. I don't have an orchard and am unlikely to take it fruit picking

Then I returned back to the site (oops) and bought the brick check gown, just to see.
And the pin check pyjamas in yellow
And the cotton short sleeved circular tshirt in pebble.

So.... far too much, but it's likely that some of it will go back (needs to go back!)

Two of my 4 purchases are due to arrive tomorrow!

(Gasp!) All 4 are coming tomorrow!😋

Mine are apparently coming today so I shall report back!

All my items are coming tomorrow too, although I have just done a second order...my bank card is in hiding now!

Finally got access to the sale last night. (I’m not a Kindred member - what is it and how do I join??) I decided to rein in my usual habits and only buy one colour and size of each item, so here’s hoping some work. I got:

-teal cedar check dress, which I tried on in store back in Feb and liked, but decided the fabric weight was incongruous to the season and the price a bit steep. At 50% off I had to nab it.

-blue cotton gingham shirt w/ large collar, just because I was intrigued, though I’m worried the fit will be too neat/close for me.

-Emma stripe tee in chestnut, I know people love these and have never tried. I do love a stripe.

-Gathered sleeve tee in ochre

-cotton linen knitted top in montella. At the price and hand-wash only this will have to be VERY good for me to keep. Still wanted to try it.

-fruit picking basket, because I do aspire to be the kind of person who wafts stylishly to the farmer’s market every weekend with this tucked under my arm. In reality I’m the kind of person who chucks things under my baby’s pram in the supermarket. 😂

@pamshortsbrokenbothherlegs i ordered the Montella top too but have just reordered in a L as I think it might be quite small. Plan to wash it on a delicate cycle!

Hello, reporting for sale duty! I was surprised at home much was on sale and some items had a big discount. Despite this I have been relatively restrained - the gingham dress with puff sleeves and the circle neck cotton linen top. I like the hemp jumpsuit that look like dungarees, but I think they may drop to a lower price so hanging fire on them. I also like the sailor dresses and shirts but they are still quite spendy.
I look forward to hearing all about everyone else’s sale purchases.
@mizu i have a love and squalor dress too. Mine is a green gingham Pheobe - it is quite voluminous but good in this weather. Shame it did not work for you. Did you order the toast one? The sleeves are also what I am wary about.

Exciting updates! @pamshortsbrokenbothherlegs , i don't know how one becomes a kindred member, i have about 3 or 4 periods a year of making purchases, almost always during sales, but it might be several seperate purchases each sale. I don't know if they decide membership by frequency or amount, but i think they bestow the membership as opposed to anyone purchasing it. It comes up when you log into your account. Anyone else know?

Same here, I was indeed bestowed with Kindred membership...no idea what the criteria are? Same as @dudsville I buy mainly although not exclusively in sales, but I do buy quite a lot...ahem! @
