Well I have now gone mad and ordered the space dye trousers and the black coffee tunic top...

Love these trousers. I have the black stripe ones from last year and wore them a lot. I do have quite a lot of summer trousers though, and we plan in spending lots of time in caravan on our seasonal pitch, so limited space. I’ve still got the micro check culottes that I bought in a charity shop in Inverness to wear as well. And I was doing a dress inventory in my head (currently in loft), and I keep remembering more.

Love your socks @Saurus72, I have the Japanese socks on a cream/beige colour and wear them a lot.
My jeans belt arrived this morning and it’s even more lovely than I’d hoped. I’m thinking the brown one will soon follow! Also got the kindred gift, great colours for me, I have a lot of navy & khaki. Silk too, a good gift

There are a couple of new dresses on the website - I like the fabric but neither of those styles is right for me. Good for my bank account I guess, but a bit disappointing!

@AmethystMoonShine your belt looks lovely, will finish off outfits really nicely.

@ToastCosILoveIt did you make it to any Toast shops?

There’s a Toast live about patchwork tomorrow (probably includes the BHS Cardigan 😬) but hoping there’ll be some new things.

I bought 2 white linen blouses in M and S to fill a hole in my wardrobe and returned both, worried they’d look like a dishrag on washing although to be fair the oversized shirt one felt nice. So instead ordered the Cotton Oxford easy shirt. It’s a decent weight in cotton . The reviews are correct, it’s very big fitting but I ordered 2 sizes and am keeping the smaller one. It’ll be useful for better days, I half tucked it into my skirt . But I like it with my indigo Alix too. A bonus was it amazingly came with the silk scarf, I have lots in these colours too so am well chuffed.

Cotton Oxford shirt.

I rushed over to check the new dresses because I had a dream about the nasturtium cord dress in a deep rowan berry red ... but alas, no! 🤣

Has anyone seen the nasturtium gathered pinafore wrap dress in real life?
My gift vouchers are itching to be spent and I really, really like the look of that dress

@Laska2Meryls, @Saurus72, @Countmeout, i did make it to Toast on the King's Road. It isn't a branch that I have been to before. There wasn't new stock in but it was good to look at all of the lovely things in the flesh.

I did succumb and bought two of the same thing in two colours - the patch pocket polin shirt. I bought the mid blue and the montella (khaki) versions. They are true to size and look great on: cut quite boxy but just short enough to wear untucked but not too short.

I tried on the garment dyed linen shirt dress on in peacock and in pink smoke. It is a lovely dress but I have similar dresses, plus the pink colourway did nothing for me.

The sales assistant said that the new drop of clothes is coming at the weekend. The spring check ruffle neck shirt is coming in a new colourway - pinky tones but without the contrast colour on the collar.

Countmeout it’s a lovely shirt, isn’t it? I especially like the neckline which looks great under jackets . I’ve just ordered it in white having already bought the soft blue colour

Ive just realised that they have two types of 'Oxford' shirt .... I recently bought the other type, ( was a last knockings JL sale bargain at only £60) but I really like the newer version on you .. Countmeout

Really nice @Gonegrey31. And I agreed it is really good under a jacket as long as you can wrestle the sleeves into the right position. The blue is lovely but I got the Sadie in the sale and didn’t currently have a gap for the blue one.
I would have liked to try the other longer one @Laska2Meryls but they didn’t have the size when ordering.

Really like the tiered dress @ToastCosILoveIt. I missed out on the blue one in my size last year. But I think the colour of this one would be draining on me. I shall definitely give it a try in store though.

Just watched the live video. I see they wheeled out the BHS cardigan again! Nothing new apart from the patchwork denim jacket. Disappointing overall, I was hoping to get a glimpse of aeons new things that are coming.

I have the cod version of the east shirt from the winter sale. I love it with Alix trousers and a workwear jacket. I’m very tempted by the pale blue one.

Yes watched Jenny in the live video. Looked like lots of wintery pieces jackets, trousers, warm cardigans. The palette is quite brown bar the PJs and blue patchwork jacket. Be nice to see some spring items a few dresses, skirts and blouses next time. ...

I’ve a feeling the BHS cardigan is going to feature large (apologies to anyone who has bought it) to ensure it sells. There’s a very retro vibe about the denim patchwork jacket too. The light colour in it reminded me of the texture of a pair of jeans I had (I fear possibly in the 70’s) .still a great deal of brown. Even the rug was brown.
I’ve discounted the khaki tank as I’m not sure I like the slits going up so far. I’m hoping for a new summer dress next time. I think it’s now possibly the 10th before we see anything looking at live events list. And not a sign of the Alix we’re all waiting on.

Also watched the Live video having made it to a Toast shop this afternoon.
It must be delayed stock as others have stated, its so autumnal in the shop.
Brown,orange, beige, crochet and patchwork totally uninspiring when other shops have crisp colours, florals etc
Yes I know the weather will be rubbish, but at least let me dream a little of spring and summer days

I went into try the Patch pocket organic denim pocket skirt and also tried on the Olive leaf patch pocket cotton/ linen skirt.
Both in a 10 ( RL 12)
Liked both but the Olive leaf skirt fabric just pipped it for me, a beautiful twill.
Both skirts,are very neat on the waist but a nice A-line over the hips.
A similar shape to the denim wrap skirt from last season.
Ive also ordered the Navy Cotton/ linen easy sweater , they had the lime colour in the shop.
Looks lovely and I also spotted the Poppy wool/ cotton v neck cardi-beautiful marled knit, so nice to see something not sludge coloured.
The BHS cardi ( sorry ) is a big , heavy wrap jacket really, again not a spring/ summer item at all but would be extremely warm.
The knitted Jacquard tank is nice and some nice new nightwear.
I didnt see the new shape Oxford shirt but I will probably order as its such a nice modern shape and would go with all my skirts.
All in all a bit subdued, was very quiet, I was the only customer.
No nice spring dresses at all.
Fingers crossed for a good influx soon.
