Merry Christmas to you all. Sorry I have been very busy the last couple of days getting my disorganised self into gear! I have no idea what I am doing awake when everyone else is asleep. We all went to Midnight Mass last night for the first time since the kids were born. The youngest is 13 now so we all thought it a good idea. However, it was 2.15am when I went up to bed. I have told them they are not allowed to sleep too long this morning as I'm working at 1pm (NHS) so we've got to cram in a lot this morning!

Anyway, sorry about that ramble. Onto more interesting things. I did not order anything from JL as the discount didn't feel generous enough for the things on offer.
I did order from Toast itself. I went for 2 of the small square scarves, the beri print gown, some fairisle socks and the lime checked cotton gathered dress.
To be honest, there was nothing I was really after, these are more like "order and see" type purchases.
Well, have a good day everyone, I'll report back when they arrive.

Well I had a Christmas Day miracle. The green jumper I wanted popped up on John Lewis this morning. Completely oos on Toast before the sale even started. Not great for the budget but I wanted it so much. Love the colour.

Merry Christmas All, expecting you are all looking resplendent in your Toast finery today. I have pulled on some jeans (Toast of course) for a quick walk but will smarten up when i get home.

Unfortunately the Toast silk PJ shirt I had hoped to wear today remains stuck in the Royal Mail centre in London where it has been for a week along with the Toast shirt i had ordered for my husband.

Father Christmas is on the naughty list here! The only gift I got was a hand cream gift set I’d actually sent to DD2’s school fair for the Secret Santa room (the kids choose a donated gift for someone in their family and a grown-up elf helper wraps it). Bless her, DD2 (5) bought it back for me as she knows how much I love hand cream (not this one, though! 🙈). Guess where the set is going next year?!

Merry Christmas to all of you! We did our main Christmas last night and Father Christmas got top marks from me as I received some really lovely jewellery as well as seeing both of my sons in the same place for the first time in two years. I call that a Win!-

Happy Christmas everyone! Had a lovely chilled day today. Not one item of Toast on! Just a pair of jersey joggers and a striped to lounge in that I have had for years.
Have not ordered anything from the Toast sale with John Lewis. I agree that the discount is poorer than Toast itself [ although they may reduce and you can claim back]
I did have some vouchers though so ordered a brora fairisle cardigan in the sale. Collect on Wednesday, so a bit excited about that.
Still no sign of the burgundy/chalk striped tee that has literally taken forever to come to me and the tiered poplin skirt/blue cardigan which has made it to a sorting office but has yet to make its way to me.
I did have notification that it should arrive by Thursday.

Ah the pomegranate stripe tee is in Milton Keynes [ Ordered this way before the poplin skirt and cardi]
The poplin skirt arrives Wed not Thurs. At least that is something!

Merry Christmas Toasties! Hope you have all had a wonderful day. Did wear a Toast dress as did meet extended family today which was so nice after Covid separations/ restrictions. Agree with all that JL not a particularly worthwhile reduction so have ordered a jumper from Toast sale and will report back. Hope you all have a restful boxing day 🎄

I wore my Mila meadow print dress, plus navy boiled wool cardigan and Fracap Explorer boots for about an hour, to walk up to my mum’s house and drive her back to mine. I felt the pressure to keep up appearances in front of her neighbours. As soon as we were home, it was straight into my Piglet in Bed linen pyjamas and my Urban Outfitters-bargain Birkenstock shearling clogs. Pandemic lounge-wear habits are hard to shake and I’m all for comfort over style these days!

@SmaugMum, I got lovely urban outfitters shearling birkenstocks as part of my Christmas present and have worn them all day. I have felt very comfy in my wool pinstripe Toast trousers which I wore with a sequin top until it got too hot and then paired with an Orla Kiely blouse.

I am looking forward to some sales bargains arriving from Toast but I won't be keeping it all. I am particularly looking forward to the poplin shirt dress which I have ordered in two sizes to ensure I get the right fit.

Wore my new indigo culottes with an old toast checked top on Christmas Eve. The culottes are very comfy. Then Christmas Day last year’s toast fairisle in navy with jeans most of the day but then toast PJ bottoms in the eve. Today I’m in ecru jeans and my new Toast alpaca yoke jumper in ginger. Tomorrow my John Lewis Kin green corduroy dress is planned. Then finally we go home and I can’t wait to relax!

Me too @AmethystMoonShine - we’re at my parents and there were 10 of us plus 2 dogs yesterday, fun but really looking forward to getting home this evening and chilling out with the cat 😊. I’m planning to not move from the sofa tomorrow, cannot wait!

On Christmas Eve I wore the orange sprig print dress, yesterday the Luna dress and today a silky dress in very dark green from a couple of years ago. All layered with cashmere cardis and wool tights.

I’m a Toast thread lurker. I’m disappointed with the current sale offerings. Will there be more tomorrow (27th?)
I can only access my junk mail (where the toast emails seem to go) on my work laptop and that’s staying firmly shut for now!

I reckon a bit later than tomorrow @OneOfTheGrundys. I think more like the 29th/30th maybe.

Happy Christmas everyone! I feel like Wednesday is "my" Christmas, when the post office is due to deliver my toast order. At the risk of sounding overly twee, only two more sleeps!

Having worn the Alix indigo trousers now I find as I suspected they are for me a spring/ summer trouser with trainers. I can’t seem to get my feet to look ‘right’ in anything except trainers with them.
I wore my Ume dress on Christmas Day, I haven’t worn it much but pleasantly surprised to find it was longer than I remembered (maybe I’ve shrunk 😕)

I'm really sad - I can't find anything I like in the Toast sale - either from Toast or John Lewis - which I don't have already. On the bright side, a corduroy shirt dress from Hush that I ordered from John Lewis months ago, but was in the wrong size, and I thought slightly overpriced, is in the sale in the right size. I'm also planning a trip to my nearest big city in a couple of days, which may actually involve some sale shopping in person at Cos (2nd favourite clothes shop after Toast..).

Cos sales are fab. I find the in store experience soooo much better as some of the boxy asymmetric stuff just looks odd on tubby little me.
