Also received the green silk bandana/scarf today it moving in with me! The raised stripe frill collar shirt is however going back. I totally channelled a clown which is not how it looked in my head

The jumper I tried to buy before is back in stock so I have re-ordered it. Let's hope they send the right item this time! Knowing my luck I will probably hate it after all of this!

I think they're gorgeous but not for me. Early on I bought a cotton blouse with a tiny frill around the top of the collar, so very mild in comparison. The result has kept me away from the frills. I need to unpick the collar of mine and take out of frill.

I have the cream one with the fine stripe. I actually really like it ( Or maybe I'm deluded) I think you need to be careful what you wear with it. I would really only wear with jeans / trousers/ crop wide leg as its a statement in itself.

I do have a long neck, so that probably helps.

Well the bud check cotton dress arrived today. It is the very first time I looked at a dress from Toast and it was completely different to what It looked like in the picture. For one thing, the pattern looks blue and ochre check but in reality, it has a red running through it. It is beautiful though. The dress is higher waisted than it seems to be online. Again, not a problem for me. Its also a decent length. The buttons are hidden by a placket and I really did not expect that. It made it look so different when I held it up.
Well I ordered a 10 as reviews said it is big. It has a slightly grown on sleeve which I'm not sure is the best for me or someone 'with a bust'
I'm finding more and more recently that dresses/ shirts and the button placement seem to fall in the wrong place for me as the all gape at the same place! Its not a huge problem as with a dress that is substantial but fairly thin cotton I always wear a slip under it. It is annoying though! Even the shirt linked above does this, which is more annoying as I need to wear a camisole under it.
It fits nicely although really hard to tell since it did come a bit crushed. I will mull it over. I do love the colours. Anyone else got it?

Toast Edinburgh has very little new stuff in. They had the jacket that matches the new Alix trousers so I got to see the fabric. It’s 100% cotton but quite rough and stiff. I’m not sure how it would feel and hang in the trousers, although I will try them to see. The check is nice, but stronger in real life than online. I’m not sure how versatile they would be because of this. I need to think about what I could wear them with.
No side tab pinafore, chambray tie neck shirt or yellow (maybe striped?) shirt to see.

The side tab pinafore looks a bit strange at the back. Baggy. Not sure it's just the shot ( The model is moving) wonder 8f it sits awkwardly. I do love a pinafore!

In the yellow the model has the straps almost sliding off her shoulders making it look a bit odd. It looks fine in the grey. Nothing much grabbing me from the new stuff. The pinafore is nice but not £180 nice.

I just tried on the new orange wrap pinafore; I can confirm that the colour is unbelievably gorgeous. It's a bugger to get on though, straps and ribbons galore, I had to get the blushing male assistant to help whilst unavoidably flashing my knickers. Poor lad.

I have 6 toast pinafores None have adjustable straps, at least I dont think they do! @billydilly Thats a lovely dress but £225 for cupro/ viscose
