I have that T shirt Saurus. I’ve washed it multiple times and it still looks new. Super comfy as well.

dudsville · 13/01/2022 17:31

I also have that stripey tee, the orange one too, love them both and have worn them most days out of the last two weeks!

My cord skirts (toast via JL) arrived today and they're going back. They were OK, but I'm only keeping things I love. I'm Cindy's getting the cotton trousers, reduced but not additionally. I have a lot of Toast trousers but they're winter and these might be better for summer. I also feel I need to stick up on pleated trousers as it will go back out of fashion and I do love them! I'll have a think.

Stoic123 · 13/01/2022 17:39

A couple of things I've bought have been reduced further (terracota skirt and fair isle scarf). Just luck of the draw.

I didn't plan to buy anything more but couldn't resist the linen apron at that price. I have a denim Toast one that can be a bit hot and bulky in summer.

Enough! I must stay away now....

Stoic123 · 13/01/2022 17:42

@Saurus72- I am wearing that exact tee today under a Toast denim pinafore dress. I wear it loads.

Saurus72 · 13/01/2022 17:47

Ah I’m looking forward to it arriving now! I’m currently living in my Toast denim and wool wrap skirts and cashmere jumpers so it should be a good layering piece. I wasn’t sure on sizing so fingers crossed it fits.

dudsville · 13/01/2022 17:53

I'm afraid to upload pics that might be identifying, but I was head to toe toast today with cinnamon cords, the lys blouse and the grey cardigan...

I have bought the oil coloured gathered skirt just in case it's lovely. Does anyone have this?

ScottishMouse · 13/01/2022 18:30

Ooh, love the new slate pinafore that has been added. Pricey though. And looks like it might be ridiculously long on me.

Saurus72 · 13/01/2022 18:38

That does look like it’s worth investigating @ScottishMouse - perfect for wfh (which I’ve now been doing for almost 2 years I’ve realised 😬). Really really expensive though - although I tend to wear things over and over when I wfh so if it perfect cost per west will be tiny.

Saurus72 · 13/01/2022 18:39

Wear not west

ScottishMouse · 13/01/2022 18:44

I will investigate and report back if I see it in my local Toast shop @Saurus72.

Thanks Faustina, I just rebought it from Toast as well £20 cheaper than John Lewis
AFingerofFudge · 13/01/2022 19:12

Oh I wish that Toast used Klarna!
On top of the £480 order I did last week (most of which is going back!) I then ordered the orange Oxford dress as it came back in my size, and the Seed dress as it had been reduced further.

THEN I ordered Fair isle Shetland sweater that came back in to stock and the poplin pinafore wrap dress. My credit card has taken a real hit and although out of all of it I'll only keep one or two things (I guess it's the equivalent of trying on lots of things in the changing rooms of a shop ) it makes me feel a bit nervous having so much on my credit card, even if it's temporary!!

Those colours are gorgeous
faustina · 13/01/2022 19:25

I think they have put almost all of the hidden things back into the sale page now - except that beautiful red bandana which I have barely taken off is still in stock but not on the sale page if anyone wants it. No further reductions though

faustina · 13/01/2022 19:27

here: bandana - if anyone wants it - can't recommend it enough!

Stoic123 · 13/01/2022 19:28

@ScottishMouse- the slate cotton linen pinafore dress that has just appeared? It's been on sale before and I bought in May last year (checked order history and links to same item).

Stoic123 · 13/01/2022 19:34

@ScottishMouse -meant to say at full price and never reduced. Was £195 then too.

dudsville · 13/01/2022 19:34

@saurus72, I'm also wearing things more repeatedly. It's certainly going to have an impact somewhere. For me it's the wool toast trousers that I haven't worn so much, and vegetal cardigans instead of jumpers.... though that could be a result of the pandemic weight, which I'm currently shifting.

I'm with you @fingeroffudge, my bank account went into the red unnecessarily. I love klarna!

Stoic123 · 13/01/2022 19:36

Sorry- just spotted the new side tab one! Lovely!

ilovecherries · 13/01/2022 19:44

I cracked and ordered the alpaca cardigan (the longer one) in the sale, and the tatersal dress and poplin PJ shirt. I think that’s me pretty much kitted out for the summer now though.

Today I wore the micro gingham dress over the cashmere roll neck with thick tights, clumpy boots and hoop earrings, plus lots of red lippy.

Stoic123 · 13/01/2022 19:46

I also cracked and bought the red bandana.

@faustina the pusher Grin

Nanasueathome · 13/01/2022 19:51

I’m not giving in
The Christmas hamper has been reduced further but still more than I want to pay

ScottishMouse · 13/01/2022 19:56

Yep @Stoic123, it is the side tab one I meant. Have just measured the pinafore dress I have from some years back and it is only 97cm in length. The new one says it is 110cm, so that would be much too long for me. Good for my bank balance I suppose.

faustina · 13/01/2022 19:58

@Stoic123 - hope it brings you as much pleasure as mine has!

@ilovecherries - your outfit sounds lovely!
