Couldn’t find a JL thread when I searched so thought I would start one myself. Going by the run-up-to-December advent threads, I think a few of us have it.

I’ve heard of this brand but never tried it so I’m very pleased with today’s. Music invisible smells ok, a bit soapy to me. I love Not a Perfume! It reminds me another perfume, possibly a Versace one that I was bought as a gift in the past.

Talisin · 06/12/2021 11:02

What an excellent way to start the week! Like another poster, I’ve always wanted to try Juliette ha a Gun and never got round to it so this is great.

I really don't like either of the 2 perfumes. I opened the drawer before I went to bed last night and put a dab on each wrist. The smell kept me awake. I had to get up and have a shower at 5am. I'm going to have to wash my bedding, the smell is lingering.
One of them smells like Bop the fly insectiside Shock and other reminds me of Rive Gauche which I hate.

JustLikea · 06/12/2021 12:02

The perfume calmed down my usually very grumpy dental hygienist this morning and I felt more relaxed than usual in the chair so I'll put that down to the perfume. I get why it's called 'not a perfume' it's such an intriguing smell. I'm really glad it was in the calendar.

Bavarois · 06/12/2021 13:11

Scent is so personal, I actually really like both of these so that balances out hating the Hermes the other day. Reasonable sizes too.

dedee · 06/12/2021 18:17

I prefer Not a Perfume. Music definitely smells like White Musk

Tobogganist · 06/12/2021 19:40

Love this calendar so far. Today's perfume is gorgeous.

JustLikea · 06/12/2021 21:06

I've just got round to using the Evolve rose quartz polish. I used it on damp skin but didnt realise it has rosehip oils in it so after cleansing my face then using it my skin felt like it had a film on it. I looked it up online but in the meantime my skin now feels super smooth and not oily so I might just use it a gentle cleanser if I havent worn makeup so long as my face doesnt breakout from the oils in it by the morning. My skin is prone to sensitivity at times.

Talisin · 07/12/2021 05:38

Hmm. I already use another form of this (not this brand) so unlikely to see any obvious benefits.

I don't already use something like this and happy to try it.

At 15ml a dose, a 100 ml bottle (Collagen Inner Beauty Boost - for non-calendar lurkers) will last about a week. I'd be surprised if I saw any results in that time...

Stoic123 · 07/12/2021 07:12

Probably my least favourite drawer so far (though credit to JL for variety).

DarlingCoffee · 07/12/2021 07:26

Using in my smoothie today. Not as exciting today’s but I appreciate the edit of products so far. Feel like we are getting a little bit of everything

Chickydoo · 07/12/2021 08:26

Not sure about this 'health drink'
Don't think I will use it.

Xiaoxiong · 07/12/2021 09:45

I looked closely at the ingredients and I think it's like a liquid vitamin supplement. Then I drank some on an empty stomach and got exactly the same feeling I do when I have berocca on an empty stomach! Two slices of toast sorted me out though.

festivefuschias · 07/12/2021 09:52

I’m happy with today’s and have already tried it. It isn’t something I’d drink for pleasure but it tasted ok and I’ll drink it every day this week. I knew that 15ml measuring spoon that’s been in the drawer for years would come in handy for something one day! Grin I already take a few supplements and collagen is something I’ve looked at because as a vegetarian it’s hard to get enough. There’s only one vegetarian supplement that actually provides it though and that is expensive. This is vegan and I’ve read that there isn’t a vegan source of collagen so anything like this will just promote collagen production rather than provide any, but it sounds healthy so I’m happy to give it a try. I’m liking the variety - the inside is important too I guess!

I want to join. But my three year old has taken out everything and claimed the advent calendar hers. She puts her hair pins, marbles and stuff in it. It's her treasure chest now!

Ahh, I’m going to (reluctantly!) give mine to my DD for the same purpose once I’m done with it.
JustLikea · 07/12/2021 10:20

I can't read the tiny writing on the back so possibly would have drunk the whole thing in one go Hmm

festivefuschias · 07/12/2021 10:26

Ha! It’s mix 15ml with 200ml of water.

dedee · 07/12/2021 17:30

I also couldn’t read the small print.

I tried it and I quite like it. I never expected to receive this in the calendar

Stoic123 · 07/12/2021 18:06

Just drank 15ml mixed in 200ml and it tasted nicer than expected.

I feel slightly perked up but probably just my overactive imagination Smile

Tobogganist · 07/12/2021 19:10

Weird one today. Not keen.

JustLikea · 07/12/2021 23:07

Decided to try the collagen and it tastes quite nice. I had my booster jab yesterday so felt a bit meh today and didn't want to try anything that might have a weird affect.

I'm looking forward to waking up looking 10 years younger tomorrow Wink

Talisin · 08/12/2021 05:35

Bit meh about this one. Had it before and always have a slight worry it’ll stain.

Not the most exciting today (Deep Sleep Pillow Spray by this Works) - size is reasonable (35ml).

Will use it but not too bothered.

Off for morning collagen dose!
