Couldn’t find a JL thread when I searched so thought I would start one myself. Going by the run-up-to-December advent threads, I think a few of us have it.

As after 7am - spoiler alert.

Colour/shade is very similar to eyes shadows I already own but I've never used Laura Mercier caviar sticks so am interested to test ease use/staying power.

Will wear today.

I like today's lots. I don't normally wear eye shadow so I tried it straight away. Lovely neutral colour, nicely pigmented and ease to use and blend. Would definitely buy this.

I had trouble working out if it was a lipstick or eye shadow at first as the writing was so small and my eyes hadn’t woken up properlyWink

Yes I like the eye crayon today because it's a bit lighter than the gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury one from last year which I always wear on a night out. I'm going to try it out and see how long it lasts on my hooded eyes.

I forgot to use the AB last night.

But I did try out the elemis Essence from the JL winter beauty box alongside the Elemis moisturiser from last years JL WBB which I opened yesterday for the first time. Both of these were used over the Estee Lauder advanced night serum also from last years JL WBB I've only started to use in the last couple of weeks because the Sunday Riley Juno oil has lasted so bloody long from last years JL AC but I've really loved it and it has made a lovely difference to my skin.

Actually I don't like todays eye crayon at all it's far too light for me but would be ok to do the inner eye possibly. What a shame.

Tried today's, it honestly doesn't look like I have put anything on.
Can't see the point. There is subtle and there is invisible.

Yeah I’m the same it’s too pale for me and makes me look a bit tired! Might use under one of my other eyeshadows as it looks like it has some shimmer on it

I’ve used it today and I like it. I am pale though (MAC NC15) and I do wear more natural shades nowadays when I wear eyeshadow so it suits me. It’s quick to apply and blends easily.

The LM eyeshadow sticks are excellent as eyeshadow primers too.

There was a programme on last night - Luxury Christmas for Less (C4) - and the JL calendar was highlighted on there for being great value.

I love today’s and I wasn’t expecting to - bonus! Love the packaging and the way you can attach it to the string. I don’t use perfume often and I have a few so it’ll last me a while.

So I finally remembered to use the scrub this morning and my face feels so soft nowSmile Also wearing the Laura Mercier shadow stick - bit meh - and todays perfume which is lovely.

Today’s will be handy for my handbag, I’m not sure about the smell either, hoping it will grow on me but it does smell expensive which is a nice way to smell from time to time ! Grin

Yep, it just pops off but it’s quite tight so some force is required!

Really don't like the smell of today's perfume. I think it has musk in it though and I always seem to get a sore throat with musk scents. Disappointing.

Like an EDP bauble- cute!

Not immediately loving the smell but don't hate either. Have popped some on wrist and will see how it is later on.

Hermes description is:
"The intense radiance of a chiariscuro fragrance, both woody and oriental.The sensuality of tonka bean and incense emphasized by deep notes of black tea. Olfactory emotion: Spicy, Dry"

I find "Olfactory emotion" hilarious for some reason and will be using this in term future.

Early days but liking the variety in the calendar so far.
