Are there no clothing offers with this any more or am I doing something wrong? All I have is £10 off Gary Barlow tickets Grin and some lifestyle discount. Don't even get in-store vouchers for food shops now.
I've been holding off buying a pair of jeans, In the hope of % off.

Those were the days Wink! I too have fond memories of the 'Penny Sale'!

SommerTen · 23/11/2021 15:45

I had £5 off of clothes & beauty last week.
So I needed a pair of black trousers for the work Christmas party as I'm not wearing a dress this year...
I bought a pair of soft but stretchy black slim leg ankle grazer trousers- came to £10 with the fiver off. Bargain!

Not sure why that post twice

Yespresh · 23/11/2021 15:47

I got 20% off clothing and beauty this week. Cashmere jumper come to Mama!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 23/11/2021 16:03

Lucky you two @SommerTen and @Yespresh.

I have some of the three times the points vouchers but frankly I'd rather get £30 off my basket of shopping!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 23/11/2021 16:55

I've got the offer of a free Percy Pig blanket but they haven't had any in stock in my local store! So that's a useful offer not!
Have had 20% off clothes & beauty offers, free bunch of daffodils, chocolates, free coffee & a now a free mince pie in the cafe.
Haven't had any free shopping but a sales assistant told me recently that someone had that week but she'd only bought a pot of jam & a loaf of bread that day!

SunshineCake1 · 23/11/2021 16:59

I miss anything I could have had as forget about it. If only they just applied everything at the till it would be easier but of course it would cost them more and they don't want to give it.

cowbag1 · 23/11/2021 17:03

I actually got my £70 shop free last week with Sparks! First time I've had anything other then free Percy Pigs!

WhatHoMarjorie · 23/11/2021 17:05

Whoa! Did you whoop and punch the air or did you do an inward 'squee!'?

£70 worth of free groceries ain't too shabby.

doadeer · 23/11/2021 17:27

It's the worst loyalty card! So shite

Piggyk2 · 23/11/2021 17:31

@Whitney168

Sparks really is the most useless loyalty scheme ever ...

(Boots Advantage Card, on the other hand - barely ever go in there, yet I somehow always seem to have loads of points?!)

I agree. M&S would be better doing a points scheme. Its too much faffing around having to get your phone out and check randomly for the offers which probably don't apply to you anyway.
cowbag1 · 23/11/2021 17:31

I was a bit confused to be honest, I'd forgotten that winning all your shopping was even possible!

It obviously doesn't happen often though, the checkout staff were as shocked as me and acted like I'd won the lottery! Somebody started clapping!

APurpleSquirrel · 23/11/2021 17:46

I too have the Gary Barlow tickets offer & a free hot drink - which is no use to me as I don't drink hot drinks.
No food or clothes offers for several months.
I went in to M&S today so will be interesting to see if that one visit generates more offers.

Have to say I love Nectar - I plan meals around the Nectar points offers on certain foods/ingredients to maximise points & the new Nectar offers can be good for food items you buy regularly. Within a month or so I've usually got enough points for £10-20 off my shopping.

How great though that you'd done a proper shop rather than just nipped in for a pint of milk and some rocky road bites Grin
JaceLancs · 23/11/2021 18:10

I’m hanging off buying nightwear as Xmas presents waiting for 20% off - unless anyone has an online code they can send me

MathsFiend · 23/11/2021 20:43

I haven’t had a single offer in months. Even got an email to check out the new offers, and when I logged on, there weren’t any! I used to get tonnes, and was in the group that got early sale access etc. Probably going to bin it tbh.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 23/11/2021 20:46

They'd probably generate more sales in-store if there were more offers and freebies to claim via Sparks!

FenceSplinters · 23/11/2021 20:50

It’s shit. I don’t see the point of the card.

DukkaDukka · 23/11/2021 21:11

I’ve had the Gary Barlow tickets offer for months now and nothing else. It’s a waste of time.

One of my friends still has offers and a free coffee, why is it so random?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 24/11/2021 06:48

My Sparks discount on flowers seems to have renewed too!

SusannaQueen · 24/11/2021 16:11

I've even lost the lifestyle discount now. Only Gary Barlow to tempt me now Sad.

Did you see the post on the other (Christmas gifts thread) where someone reckoned they'd got a 20% off code that mysteriously vanished this morning? Their thinking was that it's for tomorrow or Friday and was put up by mistake a day early.

APurpleSquirrel · 24/11/2021 17:02

Got an email today about a free Festive Cookalong (why??) & the chance to win Gary Barlow tickets (at this rate they'll be free with every purchase!) & a mention of the Sparks Advent Calendar - see pic.
