M&S Sparks card

Are there no clothing offers with this any more or am I doing something wrong? All I have is £10 off Gary Barlow tickets and some lifestyle discount. Don't even get in-store vouchers for food shops now.
I've been holding off buying a pair of jeans, In the hope of % off.

£5 off £40 food shop & 20% off Jaeger knitwear and outerwear for me at the moment.

I still have nothing at all apart from the invitation to the cookalong...

I’ve got Save £10 off M&S opticians, 25% off clothing or beauty, £9 off when you spend £90 and a free anniversary gift for being a Sparks member for 6 years (All Butter biscuits yummy)

I've just had an email from M&S asking me to load a mystery free "treat" onto my sparks card.

Much was made of the fact this this was a special surprise "treat".

It's a free sliced white loaf

My mystery free gift is either chocolate cookies or cheese twist from the plant based range

M&S stop wasting time and money with the current not fit for purpose ridiculous Sparks card format.
Do a loyalty card like Tesco or Boots.

Today I got 30p off of a cake for my Mum with my sparks card

It's so crap, isn't it? I buy loads at M&S but don't feel I get any kind of reward or incentive from my sparks card.

My latest offer is a single pastry .....

This 'offer' made me laugh out loud. Tassel block heel loafers you say? Oh go on then....😂

I also got 30% off a quilter bomber jacket. Awfully specific.

M & S stop offering me free bags of bananas.

If your sparks card data base was any good and you actually used the data you would realise that I have never bought bananas from you.

While I don't expect you to realise I am allergic to bananas I would expect your customer information system to be able to match customer past purchases with current offers or incentives.

Chalky, are you concerned about what M&S seem to think about your style?!

I got the free loaf of bread too. Woo hoo. So long as it's better than the rank free Christmas tea.

Anyone remember about 10 years ago they had a greetings card loyalty scheme... 6th card free. It was great.

To say they have our shopping habits at their fingertips it's amazing how bad they are at tailoring offers.

I've just looked at what's on offer and it's 30% off mens flat fronted trousers and 20% off beauty products.
You do realise OP, that as soon as you buy the jeans you want, there will be an offer on jeans

My £1 off a wrap or sandwich is penance for not buying a Gary Barlow ticket before Christmas. I don't need to buy a sandwich, I work from home so make my own M & S

15% off lingerie today, which is good.

I got the loafers offer too, @chalkyc2! I won't be partaking. I did also get an offer on quite a nice coat but it's out of stock in most sizes so that's extremely unhelpful and I can't partake anyway.

I also had 50p off on M&S bakery in-store, which I was going to use but the cashier was being really weird about my Sparks card and even after I said I had a specific offer I wanted to use she insisted on scanning it after the sale had completed telling me she'd scan the receipt, so I didn't get to use that offer either. I do wish, if they're going to format the Sparks card like this, that they'd educate their staff on it and actually make sure that the stuff on offer is in stock.

Another free bag of Percy Pigs. I don’t like them and have never bought them but they keep sending the offer to me
I will still get them because the are free and give them to my son.

I know there are lots of detractors on this thread but, if you are interested, M&S have pledged to double their donation to UNICEF through sparks in light of the situation in Ukraine and have donated an additional £50k.
So, even if you don’t want any of the offers, but you’re shopping in M&S anyway and you’d like to help please go on the app and switch your charity to UNICEF (go to your offers and scroll down through the list of charities).

I seem to be suffering from some kind of marketing attack about specific offers and 'treats'. Have not fully investigated. Appears to be a yoghurt?

Apparently I entered a "win a gift card" competition during their recent Sparks "bonanza", because today I got an email telling me I'd won a £5 gift card.

Which was a nice surprise. The question is, can I find anything more exciting to spend it on than new pants for the DS?!
