Are there no clothing offers with this any more or am I doing something wrong? All I have is £10 off Gary Barlow tickets and some lifestyle discount. Don't even get in-store vouchers for food shops now.
I've been holding off buying a pair of jeans, In the hope of % off.

It really isn't. Morrisons is worse - it used to be pretty decent but they changed it a while ago & now you're lucky if you get 10% off bread or deli items, single use only. They only give a couple of offers per week & you need to activate them with an app... we get an average of 10p off per week.

I binned my Sparks card ages ago, BTW. Old plastic cards make very good glue spreaders, BTW...

Mine has 20% off clothing and beauty only one use and two days left on it. It wasn't there last week when I bought PJ's

I never seem to have any offers on clothing any more. Every offer is for really useless stuff.

I once had a free loaf of bread and some cookies out of it so that was nice but not quite what I was hoping for.

They’re trying to push the credit card and if you’re approved you get 20% off that day (or did. You’d need to check if that’s still going).
Also, if you don’t already have the M&S app, you were getting something similar for downloading it.
Very few sparks offers for anyone right now and haven’t seen any freebies for a couple of weeks at least, probably due to supply/lack of depth of stock. Presume the same reason there’s no spend and save vouchers at the till either. But I’d bet my house on those reappearing soon to entice custom after Christmas.

I'm also struggling with the new Nectar prices — my local shop has no WiFi that and I can find and rubbish signal so I can't use scan and shop.

What was wrong with the old double up points system?!

I did have a free hot drink the other week and I currently have a 10% off clothes and beauty that has a couple of days left to use (single use). Offers haven’t been as good or regular this year

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams agree re Nectar double up! I contacted them about it last week as it’s usually about this time of year and I hadn’t seen it advertised. They said they were no longer running it as ‘fewer customers were using it’ so doing Nectar prices instead 😕 We saved our points every year to use in the double up promotion - really disappointed!

So pleased to find you all - I thought I was the only (unlucky Gary Barlow) person!
I had a good run of a box of Belgian truffle chocolates, random crispbreads, 20% off everything. Now, tumbleweed and I do buy a lot from there!
I used to think John Lewis was great - every now and then you got coffee&cake. It's beyond crap now, absolutely nothing for 18 months!
Boots are great for building up points.

I've had a free Apothecary handcream and candle in the last few months. Also buy a certain number of hot drinks (6?) and get one free.

Currently have a free Xmas hot drink and a free mince pie or scone.

Agree with PP about Morrisons - the only offer I have had for weeks is £5 off £50 online shop but I get 10% off in store with NHS discount so it’s pointless. Although SIL has no offers on her Morrisons app so maybe I shouldn’t complain.

These posts just show how totally random and nonsensical Sparks offers-or lack of them - are. At least with Boots you know how it works.

I see Sparks stopped awarding points a while ago when they noticed that everyone had about 50 million yet they were completely useless. We've got their credit card and are in the Premium club but the Sparks offers are still few and far between. And usually appear after I've bought that particular item.

I got Gary too. I got £4 truffles and a packet of Percy pigs in the summer.

And I recently got 20% off a pair of black autograph jeans that I had to wait weeks to get because they were meant come with a free tube of hand cream (which I don't want) and as they ran out of hand cream they 'couldn't' send the jeans without the hand cream. After I told them for the umpteenth time I just wanted the jeans they finally got delivered. And lasted one wash before looking grey instead of black. Sigh. But on the bright side I'll have gained Sparks points for buying them. Ahem.

It is really crap isn't it. I scan my card on the very tiny chance I may win my shopping for free but that's the only reason. Absolutely no point in their points system, no reward at all for good customers. There's been no offers for ages except bloody Barlow and I buy quite a lot of food in there at least twice a week.

It used to annoy me. I think I may even have started an angry thread about M&S Sparks a few years ago as when they first started it there was literally nothing! But now I (mostly) laugh at the 20p off sausages, and 50 pence of beefburgers I get occasionally! I'm a bit jealous of the candle present though - I think I did have that one year which was thrilling! I have a suspicion it depends on how much you spend at M&S too and how much you use your Sparks card (I don't usually bother!).

FFifer, I wondered that too. I used my sparks card a few times when buying food, then thought I'm never gonna get this free am I, and has anyone, ever? Maybe once a year I reckon!
