As I am looking forward to this thought would set up a thread so we can compare thoughts on the contents daily come December 1…..

Today’s products: r-Retinoate youth activating cream (full size) and a sample size Hydr8 b5 serum by Medik8. I’m not familiar with this brand but the packaging is super fancy!

Just opened mine. It looks really good, but I won't be using it until all my opened stuff is used.

Can I ask? Did anyone else miss the prompts on the boxes? Dd mentioned how she likes to read the prompts and guess what's in them. I had no clue what she was talking about.

@Chickydoo my 3 year old was up at the crack of dawn today and very excited about the ‘biggest box’ on my calendar so I opened it early for once!

Medik8 is a great brand. They are the Queens of Retinol.

Excited to use this , and I've heard really good things about the brand. Thinking it's the most expensive product so far ?

I have this and CB. Price not dissimilar but CB far outstrips this one in terms both sizes and products. Especially today's door

This eye serum is £90 I can’t believe it.

My DH thought it was an iPhone when he saw the packaging

This is my first luxury calendar and I’m really struggling with feeling worthy of using such expensive products. I’m saving them for best but I would never have an occasion on which I’d feel tempted to break out a £90 eye cream. Clearly I need to buy a luxury calendar every year so I can get used to it.

@Jooox I always do dry January and use all the products . I am peak me for 2 weeks in Feb. Hydrated, rested, good skin, hair and I knock off a few lbs too.

What annoys me about today's is the ridiculous amount of packaging. This is a 15ml product which should come in a tiny tube. They've put all this elaborate packaging on it to make it look far more generous than it is.

This is my major gripe with with space nk this year. Too many tiny products which are very overpackaged. I checked the quantities before I bought the calendar so I knew what I was getting, but packaging like this is cheeky and makes me cross.

The only reason I bought this was because I had a decent discount code, and I'm happy with it for the price I paid, but I think £200 is a bit much. CB and F&M which are far better in a similar price range.

I got the F&M one for my mum. As lovely as it is, it really isn't the one for me. Unfortunately she passed away on the 2nd so didn't get to see anything past that day. But I do think she would have loved it. But as it stands we have almost a full calandar, that won't get used.

Both me and dd looked at the CB one and there's was a few items we really weren't bothered about. I can't remember which ones, I think one was a pallette.

We both got this one and we both love it. Not disappointed in any of it. Maybe I just had low expectations 🤦‍♀️

@RedDingDongMerrily yep, on each box there's a little clue/prompt about the products. Dd looks the at the next days prompt and enjoys trying to work out.

She has been getting far more fun out of it, than I have.

@RedDingDongMerrily that’s a good idea. I think I’ll do the same. Otherwise I’ll save everything for best and best will never come so it’ll all languish in a drawer and go off.

Jo loves, pomelo bath and shower gel. Smells amazing!

Can’t wait to have my bath tonight

I’ve loved almost everything so far. It’s been my favourite advent calendar ever

I can’t get excited about a small shower gel but it smells nice and will get used.

I’ve just noticed we don’t have a day 25 Wonder if we’ll get extra treats on Christmas Eve.

I have this in the brush on perfume stick (think it came in last year’s SpaceNK advent?). I like a shower wash that makes the whole room smell gorgeous.

Primer, this looks quite good

Looks good, does it go under foundation?

I really like the primer. Im quite "glowy" after vit c and Spf so I use this to tone down a bit before I put cc cream on.

I love trying a new primer so am looking forward to opening this one. It's my life's mission to find the perfect one.

I am really happy with today's. Will make an attempt to give it a try tomorrow

Day 21
Sisley mask and something else, writing is too small and can't find my glasses to see what it says. These are 2 samples so not very exciting

I think the white one is a serum of sorts, it says to use it under moisturiser.
