Its another good one for me. Always wanted to try the brand we got today.

I have to say I am loving the calandar and glad I got this one. I have really been rubbish at using skin care for a few years. So being able to try all these things is great.

I had a bit of a pamper this morning. Used the Bom Dia after the shower - it smells so good! Then the Dr Dennis Gross peel pads and the Drunk Elephant moisturiser. Face feels feels really soft and ‘plump’. I’ve been generally really pleased with the calendar so far BUT they still haven’t dispatched my replacement mascara (mine was missing).

After much fussing with customer services about the dried out mascara they've finally sorted it by refunding me 15% of the cost of the calendar. I'm happy with that.

@chickydoo don’t worry I opened in November as I got it for my birthday so have tried it.. it’s very subtle on the skin I’m really enjoying all these wee different bits I would never have purchased separately as I’m so used to my usual powder blush xx

I tried go blusher its actually very light when you put it on. I was surprised. I expected it to be full on but it's actually lovely.

Did you use lip balm or just pat it in dry lips like a stain?

I think today's blush is ok, not as good as the rosi drops but still nice.

I patted it on my lips, too. Good flush of colour.

@Darkpheonix I used it on its own, no balm. It has a soft matte type of finish, slightly sheerer than a regular matte lipstick.

I'm quite pleased with todays - although the size is tiny. I'm going to save for a holiday I think.

Creme de La mer.
I've always wanted to try this. Very small pot though

I love today's. Quite thick so better for me at night.

I am ok with the size as well. I have been using the drunk elephant one, since we got it and I have about half left. So it's lasting.

I think these were the sizes I was expecting, so maybe my pessimistic nature is paying off.

I've finished the La mer pot as I opened early. I do like it. But I use Tret at night and this isn't quite nourishing enough for me I was a bit dry the next day, but it would be fine if I didn't use the Retinol. It is a small pot but you don't need a huge amount.

I think the sizes are disappointing because the outer box is so big in comparison. It’s so unnecessary
Really loving the calendar though. I’ve never tried most of these brands.

Either I apply too much product or I have a very big face because this tiny pot won’t last long at all

I don’t think I appreciate the finer things in life.

Today’s pot is enough for a week’s use I guess. I have tried these products before and I’m not sure the expense is worth it but I feel like I’m getting a luxury treatment as I have paid so much (sucker!).

I went back to the mascara and had a go. I thought it was a dried up stick but it actually went on ok. Still prefer Lancôme mascara but old habits die hard.

I loved the la mer I had to use as a night cream as it was very thick and rich on my skin whereas the drunk elephant was fine for during the day. 🥰
