@TheChattyRat I did wonder if it was someone from here selling it. It was BNWOT and included spare buttons. I didn't recognise it as a recent piece but then I've only just got back into Toast this year after a long hiatus.
Oh well, back to ebay then.

No the description was fine @faustina , measurements included, not a business seller. My mistake on what would suit me.

Burnt orange, soft needlecord skirt, 2 pockets, button up back with thread through waist ties. Size 12 - but not a generous 12 , it's my stomach size that make it look wrong, I would need a 14 to make it look right.

I think I have that skirt in navy blue

All these cancelled orders are terrible. But what is the worst is that people are only finding this out by chasing orders. I have had this happen in the past. But this time, I had one item from my order cancelled and I got an email to tell me that and a refund issued as soon as I had got the dispatch email for the rest of the items. I don’t understand the inconsistency.

Unfortunately for my bank blance, 5 sale dresses arrived and 4 are keepers . Keeping Mila Meadow, Damson Oxford, Cotton Cashmere and Palm Poplin. I am now longing for Spring.

The one I am sending back (as a bit meh) is the Fine Stripe Cotton Shirt dress. It is still available in the sale which does not now surprise me. It would play a similar role to the Denim Workwear dress (some of us have) in my wardrobe- but not nearly as well.

Pleasantly surprised that my whole order has turned up. Keeping all of it - the Indian Flannel Dhuggie is lovely and the S thankfully fits, the Ide PJs in port are fab too and M was the right size as I hate restrictive nightwear, wool tencel dark grey tee will be useful as a warm layer (much needed at the moment) and the Brown Slate cord dress, is quite big even in a 10 and not a wow type garment...but I think will be great for layering underneath on very cold days. Also the smart collared top half will look smart for work on Zoom and the looser A line skirt part will be comfy when sitting at my desk for hours on end. So practical I think.

Just received a dispatch email for the Indigo Hemp Cotton Jumpsuit. I was quite surprised after all the cancellations as I ordered it quite late. I originally decided not to order any of the things I’d put in my basket and then changed my mind about the jumpsuit.

I should get my crinkle trousers and nightie today...hqve also ordered the mul mul shirt ,as they had one left in my size... but reviews are mixed.. it may be too short ...we shall see

Also, @SmaugMum thanks so so much for the Amazon Black Friday Falke tights link, I bought charcoal and they are just so handy when neither black or navy will do.

ok coat saga - help needed please! So the 10 has arrived and it has exactly the same problem - weird shoulders - fits ok to big everywhere else and at the shoulders.

If I take the lining in the sleeves (while wearing the coat) and pull it tight, right down, then the shoulders look absolutely fine, but 30 seconds after letting go of the lining, the shoulders are odd again

I am a complete ignoramus about tailoring/dressmaking. Can anyone tell me what's happening and if it can be fixed in some way? It's obviously something wrong with the coat

Are the shoulders meant to be sort of puffed @faustina? Not sure it wouldn’t be a major undertaking to fix that. The orange dogtooth coat from last year/year before had weird arms too sort of puffed between shoulder and elbow. I sent it back. It would have annoyed me.

Looking at the picture the arm on the left has not been set into the armhole correctly. Possibly the armhole is too small/ big for the sleeve and thats why the lining has to be pulled down.

Mmm I have no expertise in garment construction but those shoulders definitely sit differently. It does look like it’s a fault or poor design? Shame I like it otherwise.

Yes they look set in wrongly. One side worse than the other.

I'm quite cross with Toast now - started off with a very helpful person on the phone a the shop who said to take pics and send them so they can ask if it can be fixed - which I did - then another person called me and said some customer had tried on the same coat and 'it's meant to look like that' - which I hope you will all agree it fucking well isn't ! Then she said to just send it back as it was faulty 'according to me' and they'll ask about refunding my postage.

Thanks so much all of you above - I really like it too - and especially after looking at all the coats in the world for the past few months.

Do you have a Toast pic of the coat?
Its difficult to what its supposed to be like?
They have a bloody cheek quite frankly and Im also peed off about the " exceptional circumstances" myarse email regarding cancellations.

My Sei check print dress in Olive Slate arrived from archive sale today. Have opened and print colours look gorgeous will try on over weekend and post a pic am hoping it's a keeper 🤞
