Well thats extremely odd as the left one on your coat is like a puffed set in sleeve. It would be going back Im afraid. Sale or no sale thats a faulty garment!

My Toma nightie and navy crinkle trousers arrived both keepers so that's a full house so far on the sale stuff I ordered . I probably could have sized down in the nightie , but its fine.. beautiful fabric and print

That’s such a beautiful coat. I’d bring it to a dressmaker to have a look. It might be a quick fix in the seams of the lining

That's a shame about your coat @faustina, the shoulders are clearly wonky and that was an odd staffer you got. For the first time ever for me one of my toast items had a messy patch of seam work. Easily resolvable but I was surprised to see it.

Anyway, I know you all like this info so I just thought I'd pop on to say my package was ordered Sunday night, arrived Wednesday. I posted back the items I was returning on Wednesday afternoon. Today I got an email acknowledgement the refund. All pretty quick an efficient.

Still waiting for my coat, which was a separate order made on Monday, delivery update came yesterday (I was expecting the cancellation notice a lot of you had).

@JustforToast - it is isn't it! I'll have another think later. The size 8 was exactly the same so they must all be like that - or maybe the smaller sizes?

Is that not a different coat on the John Lewis link? I though I noticed 2 coats briefly in the archive sale but didn’t pay much attention as I wasn’t looking for a coattails that point.

A coat not coattails or cocktails or anything.
In any case it’s not right and for the money I would want it to be without alteration.

faustina If I were you id send it back and look for somethimg better even sale price its not good enough ..That's why its in the sale , I reckon .. I once had a coat ( my Mum persuaded me to buy) with those slightly puffed shoulders ,.. it annoyed me every time I wore it..

There was another coat, but it was a slightly different style and they only had bigger sizes

I will probably have to send it back but I have spent SO LONG looking for a coat and it's otherwise perfect.

@Laska2Meryls It shouldn't be in the sale if it's a second - or at least it should be priced accordingly - also I am still very cross that the Toast shop person tried to tell me it's supposed to look like that.

The first person I spoke to was really nice and said perhaps Toast can fix it for free - the second person was just dismissive and rude. not what I expect from Toast!

I didnt size down as I have very wide shoulders and the 12 fits nicely.
It such a nice dress, perfect to just sling on when its really hot.

So i returned most of my sales goods this morning using the post office and, for the first time, letting the post office scan the barcode and print the returns label. I don't know why but I have never trusted it before but it worked well.

I am wearing my black Solovair Dora boots today, ones I bought from Toast last year but have barely worn. I had forgotten how comfortable they are and are a generous size, even with thick socks. They are perfect for my 'difficult' feet. I also bought the green Doras this year and have yet to wear them. I really must get them out.

in a rare day I am head to toe in Me and Em, the boots the only sign of Toast.

I find if I have more than one parcel it’s too complicated to be standing at the counter trying to match QR codes with parcels. I hate the new system and always end up having to print at home and then resent! Especially as it takes so much parcel tape to attach a non sticky label.

My jumpsuit arrived today, a perfect fit on the top but from there it all goes wrong. As well as being far too long the crotch hangs down half way to my knees. I though perhaps I could hoik it up with the belt and roll up the legs with a view to shortening them, but the crotch was still rubbing between my thighs when I walked .
Am I really that odd a shape or are all Toast jumpsuits like that - it’s a shame as it’s lovely material and the top looks really nice, but back it goes .

Ah that's disappointing Teapot jumpsuits are tricky not much flexibility if they don't work with your shape 😔

My sale dress is a keeper quite a high neck but versatile could wear for work or out out.

Here is the Toma nightie ( more of a dress imo) and the navy crinkle trousers. Love them both so much.. The Perfect Saturday around the house lounging outfit I think !

I could have sized down in the Toma but its fine ..

Im so pleased with the trousers also...Again ill probably wear them as lounge wear though they would be good to travel in ( if I ever get on a plane again!)

@ToastCosILoveIt - I don't suppose you know how the Dora boots differ from the regular Solovair dealer boots do you? I was wondering the other day - thinking of buying some

I also print out the label and stick it on myself - I think possibly my local Post Office doesn't do the QR code
