Did anyone buy the reduced pair of trousers on John Lewis this morning? They wouldn’t let me have them. Didn’t even say oos. I hope they aren’t going back to this nonsense about not posting to NI. TBF they let me have a kin dress two days ago.

Well I have been scrubbing mould off walls.. Actually I should , I suppose have put on amy denim workwear dress , Toast socks and shoes and a suitably Gulag bandana.. Damn, failed !! ... finished now so I may put my lovely Toast checked PJs on in a bit after my shower..

Not Amy workwear dress , I don't name my clothes ( yet, it will come bring of a certain age 😂)

Was really pleased to nab a pair of very reduced Toast Italian linen wide leg cotton trousers on JL this afternoon , but fingers crossed , I know Toast waistbands are pretty small.. They are a 14 so you never know..

I collected the Cotton/Linen trousers today.
Size 12, they are a comfortably loose fit and actually more like the denim culottes, with a wide leg, rather than trousers iyswim?
A really nice robust weighty fabric
Will get lots of wear.

They were taupe size 12 ?
They are far nicer than the picture and reduced from £145 down to £43.50.

They are a similar colour but flat front with a cropped wider leg. Perhaps someone returned a few pairs of trousers ?

I got my kin dress, the green cord one and am pleased with it, haven’t had much luck with kin in the past. It’s a really good winter weight. Anyone have it? Does it soften with wear?

Well, fingers crossed they fit.,Applecatchers . Wasa gamble but I couldn't leave them at that price.. they are still on the Toast website at full price ! ..... I will definitely need the larger waist if they are 'Toast fitted' but usually would order S or even XS in any of their elastic waist trousers .

Would love to see yours Templeofzoom if you get chance to post a photo.. I usually go for flat fronted trousers ..

That's interesting that some of you find the trousers small on the waist - I've managed to acquire three pairs, all one size down from my usual, and two of them are loose on the waist (one ridiculously big). I could probably size down again. I suppose it depends on the style?

I’ve got the green cord Kin dress @Countmeout. I love it. Washed well too. Better than the green & black checked Kin dress that I really like but it’s washed badly, white lines & patches all over it, and I washed as per the label. I may return it as it was 89 pounds

Has anyone tried the dart front trousers in either cord or cotton? I love the look of the cord ones, but I can never get on with Toast fixed waists as my stomach is at least as wide (if not wider) than my hips. Are these the same story as all their fixed waist trousers?

Scottish mouse I have the cord dart front they are beautiful trousers. However have a very nipped in waist. Most elastic waist toast trousers I an 8 but had to size up to a 10 because of the teeny waist. These are them with non toast jumper

Interesting when I clicked on that link, if you look at all 3 colours across them it shows two different styles of trousers…. With the same name!
Don’t start confusing us even more Toast, the sizing is tricky enough without having to guess the style too
