Is available on Thursday in store and online apparently.

I love the Calm body wash! We have the same hand wash and the small lasts on your hands for ages. Smells just like a spa. Really pleased!

whitehorsesdonotlie · 02/12/2021 20:31

I'm also burning a Calm candle too. V good value - £7.50 and it's been on for several evenings.

From the website... Ideal for normal to dry skin, L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Dynamic Cream reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles, boost the skin’s firmness and offer lasting anti-ageing protection

Basically a moisturizer!

Talisin · 03/12/2021 06:50

I thought we weren’t supposed to post spoilers before 7am? Anyway, I’ve had this before and wasn’t especially impressed - it pilled as I recall.

Sorry, didn't know aboutthe non spoilers bit. Really didn't mean to ruin it for anyone. I've had the yellow tub version of this and liked it but not tried this one before so we'll see. Smells nice though.
Helpstopthepain · 03/12/2021 07:53

I’ve wanted to try this for a while!

Luvacuppatea · 03/12/2021 07:56

Never tried any L’Occitane skincare before, so looking forward to giving this a try this evening.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 03/12/2021 08:19

I know you can't get huge pots of everything but I do wonder with something this size if its even big enough to get an idea of how well it works.

Decaffe · 03/12/2021 08:25

I haven't tried this before but will do so this morning. I'm really pleased with this calendar so far; I've been looking on the other opening threads and some items seem to be very hit and miss!

Countmeout · 03/12/2021 08:25

Never tried this. Probably the right size for me to try. I don’t think you’re meant to lather it on. Something like this I usually target at the areas needing it.

TokyoSushi · 03/12/2021 09:07

I like this one, it's tiny, but I used it this morning and it smells divine!

H1Drangea · 03/12/2021 09:11

Good morning , joining in as I looked for the thread ( basically because I can’t read the very small print and wanted to know what the Loccitane product is )
Now I know !
Also thought the Day 1 cleansing balm was for the morning 👍
Day 2 body wash smells nice , but I’m another one that likes proper soap in the shower

As others have said , I’m not particularly worried about whether it’s going to work out £300 worth or not , it’s pert of the Christmas countdown ( and DH is very happy with his hotel Chocolat calendar )

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 03/12/2021 09:15

Aww today's is such a cute pot, smells lovely too! Will use this evening I think. Friday night treat!

Can I just clarify, when I said about I want to see if it worth £300 I'm totally not fussed if it isn't, just want to satisfy my curiosity. I didn't get the box as some sort of bargain I wanted some little daily treats for self care and to brighten up December mornings. Also loving the community feel on this thread and it's great to do something a bit different! ❤️

latedecember1963 · 03/12/2021 09:22

I'm going to take a leaf out of AmethystMoonShine's book and save this for my caravan. I've just used up a Body Shop Hemp face cream I keep there so this will be a useful replacement.
The reviews on the M and S website are good and several say you only need a small amount.
Today's pot works out at £8.80 so a cumulative total of £24.76.

To be honest, I think once it's past midnight it's fine. I think it's really up to anyone who hasn't opened yet to avoid the thread until they have.
OchonAgusOchonOh · 03/12/2021 09:30

I haven't used this one before but I have liked any of the L'Occitane moisturisers I've tried so I'm looking forward to it.

Orcadianrythyms · 03/12/2021 09:40

I tried it this morning and it’s very nice - I think there’s only about 4 portions in it but I slather cream on because it’s wild weather and I’m old and need all the help I can get. The shower gel from yesterday made a lovely bath last night. I’m taking inspiration from the poster who said use everything on the day you get it- I’m terrible for keeping things for best so this is scary.

Talisin · 03/12/2021 09:50

@OchonAgusOchonOh The problem is, if you have the thread on your watched/replies list then the most recent posts show previews of the latest posts. I can avoid the thread but it didn’t occur to me that I couldn’t even check my watchlist without getting accidentally spoiled (it didn’t particularly bother me but it might for some).

10littlepirates · 03/12/2021 10:38

I'm actually not sure about the smell of today's but I used it this morning and my skin feels good so far.

Cheesymonster · 03/12/2021 10:45

Could anyone tell me what it smells like please? Bastard covid means I cannot smell neither today’s cream nor the shower gel when I used it this morning. Thanks in advance!

OchonAgusOchonOh · 03/12/2021 10:56

@Talisin - that's a good point. I didn't think of that.

Im a nurse and get up at 530 so it cheers me up to open something. I bet lots of us have toget up before 730 am I dont see what the problem is?

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 03/12/2021 11:19

I'm looking forward to trying today's treat. Would it be more of a night cream? Has anyone used it under makeup? I have quite dry skin so maybe it would be ok as a day cream under my foundation.

woodhill · 03/12/2021 11:27

I tend to keep these for when I go away. Looks good. Is it a day or night cream?
