My first quarterly box arrived today. It's £20 a month which is then "banked" so you can spend that on Liberty beauty making the box free. Free P&P on your purchases too.

@tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz easy to use. You have a unique number that comes on your emails, just enter it in the Gift Voucher box when you order. The number remains the same for you.

Hi Sponge is it always the same one? I've never taken any notice Confused

BakeOffRewatch · 18/08/2022 23:39

I think it’s a set piece boo boo, because the 2nd pic has 31 items in it, first has 30 as per the description. Yes I just counted…

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 19/08/2022 09:13

@tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz yes, its the same 16 digit (IIRC) number. When you get the emails saying you've topped up, it says how much you've got in the pot, and the number (I think).

Thanks! Shall check though as my top up email doesn't tell me what's in my pot and has a numbered bar code (13 digit) ... may need to email them so I'm ready for calendar day Grin

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 19/08/2022 09:42

Weirdly, thinking about it, I didn't get the emails saying how much was in the pot initially. I think if its fairly new for you, that might kick in later. I kept a record, so I knew how much I'd got to splurge.

Blossomtoes · 19/08/2022 09:56

Nice that we get £10 off the advent calendar. It’s a nice gesture.

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 19/08/2022 10:07

Does anyone else who is planning to get the calendar feel that having paid into the pot, you'll be extra gutted if you don't manage to get one?!

I'm wondering whether to stay up late the night before and try just after midnight Grin

Blossomtoes · 19/08/2022 10:12

There was no shortage last year, I imagine there will be plenty to go round. They’re giving us 24 hours ahead of general release too.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 19/08/2022 17:30

So much skincare though. I like more make up. Damn.

BakeOffRewatch · 19/08/2022 17:41

Is there still a beauty advent calendar thread? I thought I was on it but haven’t had any notifications, think started by @Giftwithpurchase ? At risk of going off this thread - I like it because it’s mainly skincare and not makeup. The makeup in these is never right colour for me. Though I do like the HUDA palette in the feel unique one, but not the other items.

Giftwithpurchase · 19/08/2022 19:35

@BakeOffRewatch there is an active beauty advent thread (which I can't take credit for) - think it's just called Beauty advert calendars with spoilers - sorry not sure how to link it!

supadupapupascupa · 19/08/2022 23:18

Beauty Advent Calendars spoiler alert - contents discussed within thread http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/styleandd_beauty/4595857-beauty-advent-calendars

Someaddedsugar · 20/08/2022 14:21

Is the next box due in October?

I've just noticed there are sale reductions - the picnic hamper has been reduced by £20 so holding out until next week to buy and if it's gone then it wasn't meant to be 😂

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 20/08/2022 14:40

September, by my reckoning @Someaddedsugar

Housewife2010 · 20/08/2022 16:09

The next Beauty Drop box is due out in mid October

My bad @Housewife2010Grin

BeaLola · 21/08/2022 10:29

This was the first year I was thinking of getting the advent calendar and coincides with joining the Beauty Drop - Having looked at the contents though I am not wowed and will probably give it a miss

pabloescobar · 22/08/2022 12:40

I don't seem to receive any emails from the beauty drop and I've been a member since the start - I get emails from Liberty London marketing team - can anyone tell me the email address of the beauty drop team please
Thank you

@BakeOffRewatch thank you

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 22/08/2022 15:23

Gaaaaa. So even though I set up Besuty Drop specifically for this and even though I have coveted one of the luxury calendars for years (and always regretted not going for it) I'm starting to talk myself out of the Liberty one Confused I think it may be knowing I've spent a heap of cash when it looks like there are several items I'll end up gifting on.
Plus I'm gutted there is no wash bag. I've always wanted one!

Sooooo, as back up ... does anyone know if there's likely to be a GWP before Christmas? And what threshold spends tend to be?

Thanks folks.

> starts looking at full size products from Liberty to spend my dough on <

Blossomtoes · 22/08/2022 15:32

There’s usually a GWP with wash bag in September, I haven’t bothered with it for the last couple of years because I very rarely got anything I liked or wanted. The required spend was about £200 the last time I had one.

doublecleansed · 22/08/2022 16:28

Hi @tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz - if you want a wash bag, the Liberty Beauty kits are a good way to go. The ones this year haven't been that amazing - although the bags have been lovely - but I'm hoping for another good one before the end of the year (they also often end up being reduced/on sale...the Tropic Like It's Hot one was cheap recently...but may have sold out now).

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 22/08/2022 17:21

Thanks both Grin
