My first quarterly box arrived today. It's £20 a month which is then "banked" so you can spend that on Liberty beauty making the box free. Free P&P on your purchases too.

@supadupapupascupa did you get an email? I can't seem to go straight to that on the LIberty site?

LoveLabradors · 22/07/2022 10:42

I think I’m going to pass. I have nothing I “need” to buy and I have a huge amount of pretty Liberty bags and lots of bits to use up. The cheapest set are things I’ve had samples of before. I am also not a huge fan of noble isle scents. I’m going to hold out and see if there is a decent September GWP. But I’m sure plenty of people will happily spend their credit and really enjoy it!

Blossomtoes · 22/07/2022 10:44

Same here @LoveLabradors. I’ll hang on to my credit for the advent calendar.

AprilLady · 22/07/2022 11:02

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants I did I get an email. Annoyingly the link for contents takes you to the terms and conditions page, but this hasn’t been updated for the GWP. Contents are details here: beautyadventcalendar.net/liberty-the-ultimate-beauty-gift-july-2022/

GWP does automatically appear when you put contents into your shopping bag.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 22/07/2022 11:12

Thanks @AprilLady . None of the links I get in the Liberty emails ever work for me either!

wheresmyshoe · 22/07/2022 14:07

I wasn't going to buy anything this month but.... I did. Only option two is left, happy with that.

Mrcpy · 22/07/2022 14:18

It’s so painful being on a no-spend when something like this comes around. I probably would have spent £100 if it had still been available, but I’m less tempted to spend £250. I’ll wait till next time!

Brogues · 22/07/2022 14:24

I really liked the look of the bag in the first two options but I’m waiting on a package from Beauty Bible testing so don’t want to buy something I might get anyway and have two years worth of cleanser or something!

Hopeislost · 22/07/2022 18:48

Thanks @Martinisarebetterdirty customer service are sending a replacement now.

supadupapupascupa · 21/07/2022 10:55

I love the REN tonic, very pleased to receive it as I've run out even though I've lots of others in my stash.
I tried both eye masks before. The SC one I said was lovely to use but didn't do anything so wouldn't RP. Happy to use it though for a treat. The space mask I have down as an RP so very pleased with that.
The hair stuff happy to try but I have weird hair so not sure....
The body wash OH MY WORD that is righty o my street scent wise. I could cover my house in it! VERY happy and a very probable repurchase!

Unfortunately they don't have the body wash on the website 😖

Orangeslemon · 22/07/2022 21:37

Bit disappointed not to get an email about the gift with purchase offers (unless everyone else got one?) I wouldn’t have found out if I hadn’t looked at this thread and now 2/3 are sold out! Not a huge deal but seems like the kind of thing Beauty Drop members would be given a heads up about.

LoveLabradors · 23/07/2022 08:11

@Orangeslemon usually there is a preview email - I was surprised there wasn’t this time. That said I think the beauty drop now has lots of members so probably it would’ve sold fast anyway. I’m still not regretting not getting it, nothing really leapt out at me. It might sound silly but having just received the beauty drop box and having a lot of products etc to use up I couldn’t justify it - I’m consciously trying to get beauty spending down and use what I have. GWPs don’t have quite the allure they once had! If I had the money (which I don’t) and things I wanted to buy, the most expensive one was nice for the lovely iphis bag. But I wasn’t that fussed about the products with it. I’m hoping the September GWP has a return to former glory with seriously nice things like it used to a few years ago. Hint hint Liberty in case you read these forums!

Housewife2010 · 23/07/2022 10:45

Do you think there will be a September GWP this year though? Last year's was a week or two early and was released in late August. I wonder if this will be instead of the September one.

So, I succumbed and went for the big Liberty GWP. It’s already arrived. Pretty happy with it over all. Bag is much smaller than I was expecting though (see pic, alongside the previous Iphis GWP bag). It will nevertheless get used, but only when I don’t need to carry very much!

LoveLabradors · 23/07/2022 15:02

Ooh lovely enjoy it @AprilLady

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 23/07/2022 15:28

@Orangeslemon I didn't get an email either, which was probably just as well. I was lusting after the bag in the big spendy GWP, but I don't wear a lot of blue, so there are other bag colours I would have preferred tbh.

TheChosenTwo · 23/07/2022 16:14

Has anyone used the SC eye patches from the box yet? It’s taken me about 10 minutes to manage to get them onto my bloody face, what a fiddly palaver! A lot of packaging and plastic waste for 1 pair of single use eye patches too, they don’t feel very hydrating on either but I’ve not taken them off yet so will hold off on any kind of judgement about performance yet!

legosunqueen · 23/07/2022 16:38

@AprilLady what a gorgeous shade of blue...

Martinisarebetterdirty · 23/07/2022 16:39

I love the SC eye masks and have had before but agree way too much plastic and too much of a faff, shame as they make me look live I’ve slept for a week!

TheChosenTwo · 23/07/2022 16:59

I took them off after 15 minutes and can’t see any difference at all. Wouldn’t splash out £80 on 4 more pairs, I definitely don’t think they’re even worth £8 for 4 pairs 😱
not the first thing I’ve tried from SC that has seemed more style over substance. Shame, I’ve liked a few of her things but these are not for me!
Glad they‘ve worked for you though @Martinisarebetterdirty - goes to prove we’re all different and certain things really work for some but not others!

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 23/07/2022 18:03

Eye mask didn't make any difference to me, and I thought the serum on them was a bit thin and feeble, tbh.

Brogues · 23/07/2022 18:19

Nice @AprilLady

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 24/07/2022 08:47

@AprilLady have you used your lovely bag yet? Any comments on the other items, to make me jealous? Grin

AprilLady · 24/07/2022 20:13

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants I used the bag today; very happy with it.

The rest of the GWP contents were mixed from my perspective. 3 Lip balms for some reason? Also I think I’ve tried most things before.

That said, they are mostly decent sizes. I’m quite excited to try the Sam Knight hair balm, as I’m always on the look for good anti-frizz products. I also know and really like the Omorovicza Lip Balm, the Venn all in one concentrate and the Dermalogica eye product. Have gifted the candle to DD who really likes the scent.

The only real disappointment is the perfume - Le Labo Another 13 doesn’t work for me. I would have loved something more unusual from Frederic Malle or Vilhelm Perfumerie, as in previous GWPs.

Most of the rest will get used.

Luvacuppatea2 · 25/07/2022 06:44

The blue bag does look lovely @AprilLady , but like @SpongeBobJudgeyPants , I just don’t really wear blue, so was able to resist the big spend hahahah! Actually I don’t think I have anything blue in my wardrobe right now. Had the bag been grey (I have the larger grey Marlborough bag from an earlier GWP which I love) I would definitely have gone for the large gift. As it is, I still have my Beauty Drop money awaiting another GWP………. or the advent calendar……..
