I have ash blonde hair with a few silvery highlights, pale skin and dark green eyes.
Wardrobe is a mix of greys, navy, sage green, teal, dark denim, bluey purple, fawn brown and a few black.

Never wear lime green, brights, pastels, mustard, burnt orange.

I have dark brown hair with lighter highlights, dark blue eyes, pale skin that tends to freckle if left to its own devices.

I wear mostly black, grey, navy, white, but am trying to wear more colour. Sage green, cool-toned pinks and pale ice blue all work.

Can’t wear anything “muddy” - khaki, rust, any brown or beige, mustard, burnt orange, burgundy all look terrible. I don’t suit brights either - red, yellow, emerald green all look awful. I don’t actually think I suit many colours!

DramaAlpaca · 26/09/2021 23:03

I'm dark blonde with dark hazel eyes and very pale skin.

I love colour, and usually choose muted, cool shades of the colours I love - pinks, greens and blues - but never brights. I look much better in white than cream. Some shades of red suit me as long as it's not bright or orangey. My neutrals are navy and grey, and dark green looks good on me too.

I never, ever wear any shade of orange or brown, and hardly ever yellow apart from the palest primrose. I rarely wear black on top as it washes me out, and purple has a similar effect.

NotMyCat · 26/09/2021 23:05

Red hair, green eyes, cool toned and very pale
I wear a lot of navy, green, blue, grey
Never wear orange, yellow or red

NotMyCat · 26/09/2021 23:05

Oh and no to pinks or pastels!

GreatestHits · 26/09/2021 23:26

I have mousey hair, blue eyes, ivory skin that tans easily. I tend to wear blues, greens, plum, white, grey, black. I look like death warmed up in beige, camel, tan, yellow, orange. Am very careful with red and pink.

garlicandsapphires · 26/09/2021 23:31

Autumny, sludgy shades look good on me (I think) Black, white and pastels look dreadful. Hard to wean myself off black even so.

PersonaNonGarter · 26/09/2021 23:31

I avoid all those grim mother of the bride lilacs and pastels. And no strong fuchsia. It goes all weird on me.

Pinkycheeks · 26/09/2021 23:52

Blonde hair ( ok mousy with highlights) green eyes. Soft light and warm is my prescription. I wear a lot of green and orange/ coral. Never black or white or jazzy. Beige likes me but I don’t like beige. Chocolate brown, yes.

JoanDarc · 27/09/2021 00:03

I’m pale, blonde (ash tones) with green eyes, quite often with a light self tan. Have changed colours in recent years to those I know suit me better - blush pinks, chambray blue, white, coral for summer - pale non muddy khaki, burgundy, teal in winter. I definitely suit lighter colours on my top half and have pretty much phased out black from my wardrobe. It’s made shopping/ outfit planning so much easier.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/09/2021 00:05

Ash brown hair (or mousy), green eyes, pale skin. I suit cold deep colours - black, dark green, navy, charcoal, imperial purple, burgundy, magenta or raspberry pink, burnt orange, and darker browns. I look awful in beige, pastels, camel, tomato red, salmon pink, cream. I’m better with white than cream but neither really suit me. Cold pale colours like ice blue or lemon yellow or light grey are somewhere in the middle - not my best colours but not terrible. Basically, I need a contrast, and my wardrobe is mainly black, navy or forest green, although that’s partly driven by the fact that high street clothes come in a very limited palette and those are the ones readily available that actually suit me. The number of times a shop will have 8 colours of a top and I would wear the black one only because the rest are warm, sludgy or wishy washy.

Susannahmoody · 27/09/2021 00:07

Dark blonde hair, dark blue eyes, skin that tans in the winter.

I'm a jewel winter. Wear lots of bright jewel colours, especially teal, emerald, fuchsia, steel grey. Bright white looks good on me.

Any pale ice cream colours look horrible, I had a mint green cardigan once, it made me look like I'd thrown up.

zukiecat · 27/09/2021 00:15

I have pale skin, mid blonde hair and blue/grey eyes.

My wardrobe is made up of pinks, reds, aqua and ice green/blue and one navy dress.

I can't stand yellow, orange, or black, don't have anything in those colours.

I have one pair of grey jeans, everything else is dresses, skirts and tops.

MistySkiesAfterRain · 27/09/2021 00:22

Chestnut hair, brown eyes, freckles, fair skin.

My best shades are navys, teals, emeralds, raspberry, aubergine.

My favourite bright is soft turquoise. Also mossy yellow.

I hardly ever wear red, no particular reason, it just feels the least me. I think as my hair is so strong in colour.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 27/09/2021 00:24

Dark hair, green eyes, olive-y skin that tans easily.

I really suit baby blue, but no other pastels. I wear a lot of mustard, silvery-grey, black, tobacco brown, orange/rust, red, and need to be very tanned to wear white or cream.

No idea what that says about my “season”.

TheBullfinch · 27/09/2021 00:26

So many cool toned people with green eyes!

I'm the opposite! I love warm neutrals (ivory, beige, light grey, gold, oatmeal, sand, camel, tan, brown, dark grey), denim blue, navy, light pink, plus bright colours in summer, mainly bright blues, greens and coral/peach colours.

I look terrible in black, white, rust, army green, mustard, burgundy and mauve (basically all the colours usually found in most shops).

90% of clothing is wrong for me.

leavesthataregreen · 27/09/2021 00:31

Blonde, blue eyes, pale skin. Lots of navy, pale grey, different shades of blue from turquoise to lavender. Lots of tan and cream. A bit of scarlet and some khaki.

No yellow, pink, brown or green. I look dead in all of them. Phasing out the black too for that reason.

Withgasoliiiiine · 27/09/2021 00:31

Dark blonde hair with lighter balayage growing out, green/ blue eyes, pale skin with a yellow undertone.

I love dark, cool colours- greens, blues, teal, black, burgundy, a strong mustard. Red can look good but needs to be the right shade, not too orangey. Can't wear white, pink, neon or pastels

AnnieSnap · 27/09/2021 00:32

I have white grey hair, blue grey eyes and very fair skin. I like colour and know that suit strong and pale blues, greens, pale pinks, white and navy. I also have some shades of brown in my wardrobe, which ‘the rules’ say isn’t my colour, but if I like something and feel good in it, I wear it. I have a couple of black items (one dress, one jumpsuit), but generally I don’t like black.

Moonshine5 · 27/09/2021 00:39

Currently long dark brown hair with blonde / gold / light brown highlights. Tan skin. Very dark brown eyes. What colours would I be.
Also planning on dyeing my hair jet / blue black at Christmas. Would that still be same colours?

TheCategoryIs · 27/09/2021 08:32

Strawberry blonde, grey eyes, pale skin with warm undertone. Olive, rust, navy, china blue, chocolate, teal. Hard to find bottoms in these colours apart from navy. I’m an Autumn.

lazylinguist · 27/09/2021 08:42

Similar to you, OP. My hair is light brown naturally now, but I was ash blonde as a child and now have ash blonde highlights. Eyes dark browny green. I avoid the same colours you do. The colours that suit me best are navy, white (not cream), raspberry, spring green, stony beige, grey, cool blues, dark chocolate brown. I'm fine with black too.

What’s your natural hair colour - dark brown? I think hair dye doesn’t make a huge amount of difference to the clothes that suit you. However, a lot of people struggle to choose hair dye that suits their skin tone - I’ve done this myself, anything warm blonde makes my whole face look red. I think that’s the most common mistake, you see loads of women with warm blonde highlights clashing with their faces. Does blue black suit you as a colour?
elQuintoConyo · 27/09/2021 08:53

I'm white. I have pale skin with peachy undertone. I have grey/white hair in sleek long bob (sometimes 'beachy' waves). And blue-grey eyes.
I suit black (not worn often as I have a blonde shedding dig!), navy, bold pinky red, fuschia, apple green, royal blue, baby colours (baby pink/blue).

I don't suit: neons, white, anything earthy: beige, khaki, mustard, brown, moss green.

I do wear some unsuitable colours but not up near my face, I have some fab mustard winter trousers for example.

I may suit the baby shades, but I don't wear them as they're so listless!

Pigtailsandall · 27/09/2021 08:58

I have warm-toned caucasian skin, and dark-blonde hair and blue eyes. Pastels make me look odd, so I wear bright, warm-toned colours. My best colours are an orange-toned red, bright yellow and a warm blue (yes, I realise that'sabit of an oxymoron). I shouldn't wear black but I do!

Newmum29 · 27/09/2021 09:12

Very dark almost black hair and dark brown eyes, pale skin in winter but tans very easily in summer, no freckles.

Used to exclusively wear navy, black, white and grey but I do really like mint green, bright red and burgundy. Orange and yellow look dodgy on me as does any dirty colour (beige, khaki, rust) and I avoid pastels like the plague (especially pink and blue).
