Ok guys, make sure you are sitting down!!!!
I have searched all the usual places and it appears I have NO disposal razors left!!
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
I had somehow amassed a huge amount which I have been working my way through (I don't shave that often) and now it seems I am sans razors!!! I know that disposal rate are not great for the environment- am open to try something greener... any suggestions? I have tried the Melody rub thing which is fine for legs but no good for underarms.

Also in my hunt I have reviewed my stash and it is much smaller than before - which I am vair proud of!

I have bought the H&B advent and was planning on getting the Amazon Beauty one but a) it has sold out and b) does not look that impressive anyhoo so now I am considering the Boots one or the Body Shop one or both

I’ve been fine using a safety razor in the past but not ok my bikini line!

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 26/09/2021 14:24

I am a Gillette girl. Works well for me.

NoMoreBananas · 26/09/2021 15:51

So i know this thread is more about using stuff up, but I've had a horrible week, illness, and death of a friend and alot more, so decided i was going to go to superdrug for a look. £270 worth of skincare for for just less than £20. Such an amazing sale xxx

CornishTiger · 26/09/2021 16:58

Sorry @NoMoreBananas about the death of your friend. Glad you’ve treated yourself. Now you need to list your purchases to lead us into temptation

Experiment627 · 26/09/2021 18:24

Thanks everyone. I will get a picture taken tomorrow and get it uploaded. I've just crashed again, so gone to bed. Struggling to cope right nowxxx

@NoMoreBananas so sorry to read about your rubbish week. Hoping it gets better X

One empty from me - REN Rose onto bath scrub, really like this one, might RP. Never enough bath products in advent calendars for my liking (I know some disagree)

Justilou1 · 27/09/2021 09:17

@NoMoreBananas - if ever there was a time for a skincare haul, it’s now. I’m so sorry. Big hugs!!!

MidnightMeltdown · 27/09/2021 12:53

Reporting my final 2 empties for September. This makes 8 in total this month which I feel isn't too bad a start. Hoping for another 16 before 1st December to make room for the advent calendar haul! I have quite I few small items to get through so might be doable.

Today we have:

Agera ultra mild cleanser: I'm a fan of agera products and use them quite regularly. This is a good basic mild cleaner that doesn't dry my skin out. Think that I already have another in the stash.

Bramley shampoo with mandarin and rosemary essential oils: I quite liked using this product. It smells nice and I like the fact that it's natural, but I have thick hair and found that I needed to use a lot to get a decent lather. I wouldn't buy it, but would happily use it if I received another.

Good lord I have been on a SPLURGE.

I think a self imposed ban is required for a few weeks, if only so the smoke on my bank card has chance to dissipate.

I've discovered how much I love Inkey List products in the last month. I've been using the oat balm cleanser (in place of the Ren jelly cleanser, which I love but it £25). The retinol serum and retinol eye cream, blemish treatment and caffeine eye cream. All have been excellent and I've actually noticed a difference after a month of the retinol, will repurchase all of the above.

Boots have 3 for 2 on Cerave and extra points for £20+ spend so I bought 3 of the SA cleanser. I love it for a second cleanse and it's making a difference to my daughters skin as well. A definite HG and I'll build a stash of it pretty much guilt free!

The only empty I've had recently has been my Olaplex shampoo. I've still got a few washes left in another bottle but am going to have to repurchase, although I'll get the new purple toning one as I'm mainly blonde and have been using a regular purple as a prewash before Olaplex. Need to find someone with a Salon Services trade card to make it cheaper....🧐

WellTidy · 27/09/2021 14:58

An empty: Rituals Sakura shampoo, 50 or 75ml. Received as part of a gift set or GWP. Nothing special, no real scent to it like their other Sakura products and wouldn’t recommend or purchase.

Experiment627 · 27/09/2021 16:18

@daisyjgrey sounds like you are find great products along the way! Yay!

I have an empty:

  • Superdrug almond moisturising shower cream: okay but not a strong almond smell nor the signature vitamin E smell so I can take it or leave it

FreshFaceTime · 28/09/2021 07:48

@daisyjgrey if you like jelly cleansers, Aldi have got some in at the moment and they're only £3.99! DE dupes. Just thought I'd throw that out there!

Please may I join in? For the past year I've adopted a policy of only buying clothes if I really need them as opposed to just liking them. It's worked most of the time. 😄
I think I need a similar approach with beauty stuff, so here goes.
My 1st 2 "official" empties.
A Ren night cream and an Eyeko mascara. Both small sizes from either an M&S Advent calendar or beauty box.

Experiment627 · 28/09/2021 09:14

@latedecember1963 Welcome!!!!!!

I have an empty:

  • M&S Beauty Sun Smart moisture protect creme gel after sun: I adore this! Completely HG! I will cry the day it gets discontinued (I am praying it has not already been discontinued). This is so soothing and smells absolutely glorious. This bottle is at least 2 years old so I have used up as a body lotion.

WellTidy · 28/09/2021 09:20

@latedecember1963 what did you think of the REN? I have pigmentation and I’ve wondered about using this. Any feedback very welcome, thanks!!

WellTidy · 28/09/2021 09:22

Empty: Waitrose lime and basil 500ml bath foam. I absolutely love this range of bath foam from Waitrose, but it has been discontinued. I’ve bought as much stock as my local Waitrose had (four bottles) as it is down to £1 which is incredible - it’s a quality product and a great range of scents.

latedecember1963 · 28/09/2021 16:47

Thankyou for the welcome!
The Ren cream is nice as a night moisturiser. I can't say I've noticed much difference with pigmentation as I've used it over the summer when my face tends to tan naturally. Using it in winter would be a better test. No harm in giving it a try, but I suppose it's that approach that's led us into needing this thread. 😂

WellTidy · 28/09/2021 17:04

Thanks for the feedback on the REN dark spot corrector. I have just found one in the stash Blush I think it must have come in this summer’s M&S beauty box. It says a lot when I don’t even know what is in the stash! Im going to give it a go when my skin is properly stable.

NeedWineNow · 28/09/2021 20:42

Can I join in? I'm trying to work through my stash of mini shower gels and body creams which I accumulated in preparation for holidays last year (ahem). had two empty mini REN body creams this morning - Rose and also Atlantic Kelp. Still got several to go.

I confess to having just bought the Clinique TSV from QVC just now (I didn't know they sold Clinique) but as I needed to replenish anyway I didn't feel too guilty.

NeedWineNow · 28/09/2021 20:47

@NoMoreBananas Flowers so sorry for the loss of your friend. You definitely need a splurge.

Experiment627 · 29/09/2021 06:14

@NeedWineNow welcome!!!

Not sure if I fessed up about my Sunday Boots splurge but I got the Macmillan advent for half price!!!! My stash was in pretty good shape until then 🙈🙈🙈
