Oh and an Estée Lauder eye cream that is ok but I've decided I prefer others especially gels so I'm passing it on.

Finished my Pure day cream just in time to get a new one in my advent. But have a couple of other samples to use first.

Looks like everyone’s having fun!!! I dropped my favourite bloody Nars face & eye palette on the bathroom tiles. Even the mirror smashed. Of course it’s a couple of years ago and I have no hope of replacing that one. (Very sad.) Decided to have a look at Nabla on Beauty Bay. I have ordered the Nude and Platinum Palettes in the first photo and am contemplating the Analogue and Metropolitan ones as well. (All on sale.)

I decided to do an updated inventory, as well as all the I probably have 2 open product of each on the go...

Shower gels: 10 (some are 100mls)
Body lotions: 4
Foot creams: 3 all that flipping Margaret Dabbs which I got with GWP
Handcream: 1 (but about 10 in use)
Cleansers: 4 all minis
Peels/toners: 4
Body oils: 3 and 1 mini
Face moisturiser: 12 (all 10-20mls apart from 2 50mls).
Face masks: 4
Conditioners: 2
Eye cream: 1
Primers: 2
Serums: 2
Face oil: 1
Sunscreen: face 3, body 3

But I have Fortnums & M&S advent calanders. Plus purchases a Liberty set last week (the sleep one), some Dermaologica Vit C and have a large Neom order on the way. None of this is itemised yet... my plan is store it all until later in the year.
I did also but 3x Elemis gifts bags intending to use as gifts but I think they look like freebies so not sure what to do with them now.

Sorry long and boring post. but it was very cathartic and will stop me ordering another Liberty bag. I have a voucher I need to use so think I will get the liberty print water bottle instead.

I've a couple of empties. Superdrug natural radiance hot cloth cleanser, ok prob wouldn't repurchase but nother wrong per say. Also finished the bottle of hypnotic poison perfume I got last Christmas.

Today I finished the colour Wow conditioner from the summer beauty box (last year I think). It's ok, nothing special I don't understand the price tag tbh.

I'm a faith in nature shampoo and conditioner convert so I've bought a 5l conditioner off amazon which I will use to refil my bottle. It's going to last a long time lol.

Just hopping on to report some empties:

• Superdrug Naturally Radiant glycolic tonic 5%: this is just fine and has no yucky Nip & Fab smell!
• Wella Invigo refresh wash: I really liked the smell however it left my hair feeling like straw so always had to use a conditioner after
• Superdrug colour concept wash in wash out colour booster: this was very conditioning and I think it did help with the in between hair dye stage but you have to leave on for 5 minutes and I did not always have the time for that
• Superdrug Bloom Mandarin & Lime Basil: ok scent but NOT a dupe for Jo Malone

I've finished a mini soap and glory body butter. I do like these but the full size ones last ages and I get a bit bored using them up. I've a mini dirty works one to use up next.

I managed to miss off another empty:

• Radox lavender & waterlily bath soak: not a fan of the smell - I prefer pure lavender

I get bored using the same body butters too and usually have 2 or 3 on the go at once.
5 more empties. The Nivea tinted moisturiser, Australian Body Care shower gel and hair conditioner are staples for me.
The Rituals glow oil was in last year's Advent calendar and smelt like sunflower oil so not for me.
Quite sad to say goodbye to the lip balm as it was purchased in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens gift shop almost 2 years ago when we were lucky enough to visit Australia during DS2's year abroad at University. Not keen on it as a lip balm but I've used it as a very effective cuticle balm.

Finally! A few empties! I've missed you all.

Rimmel exaggerate eyeliner: HG for me.

A mascara - so old that all the writing has rubbed off.

Skin and Me tube.

Box of 35+5 Dennis Gross acid peels. Another box to go.

M&S shower gel

A few random sachets while travelling.

It's tough at the moment.

A few more empties from me too:

Dr Dennis Gross C+ Collagen Deep Cream - really liked this. It's very thick and moisturising (the kind of thing that I would only use in the depths of winter), but it sinks in nicely. Doesn't sit greasily on the surface of the skin like some thick moisturisers do.*

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub - love this! New HG for me. It's the only expensive shampoo I've used which actually makes a real visible difference to my hair. Have already repurchased a big tub.

Imperial Leather Tropical Rainforest Shower Gel* - ordered this with an online food shop. Probably wouldn't have chosen this scent if I'd smelt it first, but it's perfectly fine for an ordinary budget price shower gel.

I am trying to imagine what a tropical rainforest smells like... is it a sweet smell or more fresh?

I'm imagining the smell of Um-bungo juice :P

It smells like exotic fruits, so I would say more in the sweet side. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just not a favourite.

I think Imperial Leather would have a harder time shifting that fragrance 😂

They should probably rename it though - 'tropical rainforest' is a bit ambiguous when buying online.

Particularly for those of us in the UK - not many tropical rainforests here 😂
