Is this too sheer and / or too bridesmaid-ey for a wedding I’m attending (in March Grin ) I plan ahead….

You've got plenty of time.
(Kindly) I'd think again.

Chipsandchesses · 22/08/2021 10:14

@shallIswim can I ask why? Is it too sheer or you’re just not keen?

OP posts:
shallIswim · 22/08/2021 10:16

It's a beautiful dress for a boho bride

Chipsandchesses · 22/08/2021 10:17

@shallIswim ah got you Sad I thought it might be too bridal WAH

Thank you

Gorgeous dress but agree maybe a shorter length-it does look like a bridesmaid’s dress potentially

Itsanewdayforme · 22/08/2021 10:19

I think it’s gorgeous. I disagree that it’s bridesmaidy

DurhamDurham · 22/08/2021 10:20

Our daughter is getting married next year and the dress she has chosen is very similar to this one, although being made to measure doesn't come in at a bargain £270! So I'd say this definitely isn't suitable for a wedding guest to wear.

countrytown · 22/08/2021 10:21

as a bride or a guest? as a guest obviously not

Chanel05 · 22/08/2021 10:22

It's a lovely dress but I wouldn't wear it to a wedding.

countrytown · 22/08/2021 10:22

Oh you don't want the white? the link defaulted to white

Apparentlystillchilled · 22/08/2021 10:23

I have a dress which is similar to this (diff colour. And no, not white or off white). I love it and would wear it to a wedding. Go for it!

countrytown · 22/08/2021 10:23

nice dress but a bit bridesmaidsy

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 22/08/2021 10:23

I think it would take attention away from the bride so I wouldn't wear it, it's very low cut and too much leg.

craftyminer · 22/08/2021 10:26

A white flowy gown? Definitely not. In any other colour it would be lovely but in March you might need to wear tights and think of the weather. Could be too summery.

Chipsandchesses · 22/08/2021 10:26

It wasn’t the white one Grin that would be insane!! It was supposed to link to the dark green one

LittleRen · 22/08/2021 10:26

I am seeing a dark green dress - not seeing what’s bridal about it? It looks lovely but maybe I am seeing the wrong colour.

bigbaggyeyes · 22/08/2021 10:27

It's a gorgeous dress, the floral one is lovely m.

Alternista · 22/08/2021 10:27

I’m seeing the green one and i think it would be ok if styled fairly casually?

Sarahlou63 · 22/08/2021 10:28

Looks like a lovely dressing gown...

Chipsandchesses · 22/08/2021 10:29

Thanks for the replies all - Mixed responses but I probably wouldn’t wear it now as I’d be paranoid people think I looked a bridesmaid! Shame as it’s LOVLEY

OP posts:
pegasussy · 22/08/2021 10:29

Did you mean to send the white one? If so, I think not - some brides wouldn't like that.

If not, then it's lovely! I especially like the sage one.

steelseries · 22/08/2021 10:29

It links to the white one for me. But if it's the green you're looking at OP I think it's lovely. I love Reformation.

Chipsandchesses · 22/08/2021 10:29

Ah I see a few people are saying the green doesn’t look bridal???

OP posts:
countrytown · 22/08/2021 10:30

i prefer other dresses on there

Billandben444 · 22/08/2021 10:30

I love the green! I'd go for it but dress it down. Do you need to decide now?
