Don't like the felt tip ones as much as the fine brushy ones that come in inkwells. The fine brush ones you can put on with a real flourish.
Mind you, it takes ages to perfect, I walked round for years looking a bit like Barbara Cartland left out in the rain. Was determined not to be beaten though and now feel naked without my liquid eyeliner.
After using Rimmel (which I now realise in retrospect was crap) I now use Boots No 7 which I think is about £8.
vfm 8/10 - is reasonable cheap.
application 10/10 easy peasy (she says now)
finish 8/10 a little watery - a rich black
durability 8/10 - last most of the day and stays put in the rain, even though is not waterproof as such.
range of colours 5/10 - think it only comes in black, but can't be sure
For coloured ones I used Tesco Make Up - has more of a felt tippy nib but goes on very easily and feels very expensive. Think they are £4
vfm 10/10 - cheap
application 6/10 very easy and smooth but marks deducted because brush could be finer
finish 8/10 smooth, shimmery looking
durability 7/10 could be better
range of colours 9/10 - three lovely colours, they are satiny finish. One pewter coloir, one teal and one a violety burgundy. Great colours and all 3 are very flattering.
