Fisherman platforms my arse - let's call them what they are: jelly shoes, available in all good seaside shops, next to the bacon and egg shaped rock. Yes they're fine.

They don't look as good with socks, in my opinion.

I like the first ones best. They are super in fashion this summer. I've just bought some from Labucq so I obviously like them!

They're not jelly shoes! They're artisan leather. I like them (am old myself and you are never too old to be ironic) , depends what you wear with. Black might be less orthopaedic.

Noooo! A stone would get in through the gap and drive me bananas because you can't shake it out so have to take the hideous shoe off and remove the stone then buckle it back on, only to have to repeat it all again in 10 mins. Too exhausting for my taste.
