Lipstick Challenge January 2020.

Hello lipstick junkies and a very Happy New Year to you all! (And a new decade!)

So, the point of this 'challenge' for any newbies is to go through your lipstick stash and wear a different colour everyday! Pictures are useful (although not mandatory) although colour descriptions are good too! Definitely post brand and shade name/number please!

(So many exclamation marks, can you tell I'm excited? I love this, it's something fun during a dreary month.)

I will begin, I'm wearing L'Oreal matte lipstick in 'Stay the night'. I think it was a Boots exclusive or freebie or something (I got it on eBay.) It's a purple-y wine shade and very comfortable to wear.

Today, I'm wearing Huda Beauty demi matte liquid lipstick in Mogul with Colourpop Magic Wand on top to lighten it a bit.

Excuse the full on selfie, but this colour doesn't seem to work close up. It's Maybelline Matte Ink in 'creator'. I think I've had more compliments on it than any other colour I've worn.

Love all of those coffee. You have great lips. Best, for me, is brightest on bottom right.
Forgot yesterday which was Kiko Intensely Lavish in 05. Always forget this one but so bright and cheers me up a treat!

Today is Sephora own brand in spring break. Only ok really. Satin finish which I’m a little scared of smudging but love the photo packaging so can’t get rid of!

This is No 7 Stay Perfect lipstick in Pomegranate. It's quite bright for me but it came up on their colour match service as being good with my skin tone so I thought I'd give it a try.
(I've just noticed how squint my lips are!)

Today is a Burts Bees crayon in Napa Vineyard, which is a good colour, I think but it's doesn't have great staying power

I'm loving seeing all the different shades and all the beautiful lips.

Can I ask, do you all use lip liner to keep your lipstick in check and make it look better?

Today's is the dregs of Chanel rouge coco style in Roman. A beautiful colour, but not much actual lipstick and I've used it up too quickly.

My message didn't make sense! That's because I started it before I left for work at 5.30 . What I meant was it's a lot of money for not much lipstick which hasn't got good staying power, but it's a wonderful colour.

Mac Kinda Sexy for me today, I think it's a bit 90's but I do like it. Another matte. Must choose some brighter colours for the rest of the week.

@Lucked ...LOVE the EL Rebellious Rose. Would it be OK on a fair skinned blonde?

I'm loving all the soft pinks, and Rose shades.

Today I wore Laura mercier Velour lovers lipstick in Corqette, its a rose peach type of shade. I wore it with soft matt rose eyes from the Mac Burgundy x 9 palette.

Lipstick Queen Pawn today. A really lovely dark nude, a nice MLBB shade.

@MissKittyBeaudelais i am very fair and sometimes blonde and a rebellious rose is one of my favourites. Lasts about 3 hours on me but longer lasting lipsticks wreck my lips.

Lisa Eldridge skyscraper rose. Sooooo good! Received lots of lovely comments.

Dior lipgloss in Bonheur today. I love this one. A donation from my DSIL. She buys lots of Dior - decides it doesn't suit her and gives it to me grins

Today I have a beauty bakerie (eyeroll at twee spelling) matte liquid lipstick.

Joining the raspberry trend on here, I'm wearing Boy Gorgeous by Marc Jacobs today. Definitely one of the best lipsticks I own from this brand. I bought it after a recommendation on this thread a couple years ago.

Loving all the LE lipsticks Pinkie, they look great on you. Thankfully most of them are sold out on her website or I'd have spent a fortune by now 😆

Going to the dentist later, so don't want anything on that will smear visibly.
