Lipstick Challenge January 2020.

Hello lipstick junkies and a very Happy New Year to you all! (And a new decade!)

So, the point of this 'challenge' for any newbies is to go through your lipstick stash and wear a different colour everyday! Pictures are useful (although not mandatory) although colour descriptions are good too! Definitely post brand and shade name/number please!

(So many exclamation marks, can you tell I'm excited? I love this, it's something fun during a dreary month.)

I will begin, I'm wearing L'Oreal matte lipstick in 'Stay the night'. I think it was a Boots exclusive or freebie or something (I got it on eBay.) It's a purple-y wine shade and very comfortable to wear.

Today I'm wearing Revlon lip stain/balm chubby pencil in Honey, it's a pinky, purple type of colour, sheer and so easy to wear. All the reviews say it's a MLBB shade. It's comfy and great for casual days.

This weather is playing havoc with my lips so I've not worn anything for a few days, but been enjoying seeing everyone else's!
Marc Jacob Kiss Kiss Bang Bang today, I never wear this, no idea why as it's lovely.

I'm wearing a Mac retro matte today, Lady be lucky I think it's called. I like it as it feels like wearing nothing but I've just seen how dry my lips are, gah!

New Primark matte liquid lipstick today. It was a pound and I really like it! Sorry about weird photo 😂

Mac Fanfare. I used to love this, but it is a bit brighter and glossier than what I currently prefer.

Nars satin lip crayon in Lodhi which should be quite coral but mine looks different/pinker to online- maybe a production error which is why I got it in TkMaxx😁

Whatever it is it is very wearable and easy to apply

Estée Lauder pure colour envy in sly ingenue. This is usually a going out colour for me as fairly dark.

my choice for the day is Burts Bees in Redwood Forest. it's been described as a 'suit all' red and it's a big chunky crayon, so super easy to use as well

Lime Crime Velvetines dark nude today.

I like the look of that Primark lipstick Peachy, can't really go wrong for £1 can you! What a bargain.

I'm in Mac Flat Out Fabulous today, I love this lipstick, the colour looks great when I'm wearing green. I'm only WFH today but felt like going bold 😆.

I'm loving all the lovely lipsticks on show here. I'm going through my stash now and throwing away my old lipsticks. I'm going to try some on this thread. I've realised that I tend to the same kinds of colours; they seem to work for me.

This is mine from yesterday. It's Kiko Velvet Passion matte lipstick.
Please excuse the rough application. I had to use my phone as a mirror, but I wanted to post another colour as I'm enjoying the thread so much.

Mac D for danger today, worn as a stain.

Chanel coco shine in Boheme. As a previous poster has mentioned these are not really worth the price as you get so little product but they are nice

Today is Beauty Pie lip liner (cherry I think). Great liner and didn’t even bother with lipstick!

Forgot yesterday’s too.
Soap and Glory super nude. Love it although quite brown so a little 90’s. Smells really good too!

That Kiko colour looks great Judy. Wearing just liner is a good idea Pinkie, I've only done it once or twice.
Mac Creme Cup for me today. It's really popular but I'm not completely sold on it. Depends on the day, sometimes I think it's quite a romantic colour, sometimes feel like I've stolen lipstick from a tween.

Accidentally left the lipstick I was meant to be wearing today in the car but this was in my office drawer.

Well I have got some more because when I was in Boots last night I went to have a nosey at the Lancôme Rouge in Love lipsticks and it turns out they have been discontinued but the very helpful assistant showed me to a sneaky shelf at the back of the store where they where reduced to £6. Also lots of Lancôme and Dior at bargain prices!
