ASOS Advent Calendar

Not sure if there are many people with this calendar but thought I'd start a thread just in case.

I'm happy with day 1. Not something I'm dying to use but it's a nice brand, full size, and I'll definitely get use out of it. I think that's a good start.

I've missed the last few days.

18th - This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray 10ml (£2.50). Just got one of these from a hotel but still quite happy.

19th - Dr Jart+ ceramidin facial sheet mask (£4). I quite like these sheet masks but it is a bit disappointing to get something single use.

20th - never heard of My Clarins either but happy to give this a go. It says it can be used as a night cream too. Re-Charge sleep mask (~£8)

21st - really pleased with Clinique. Ooh and it is full size so £27.50 on ASOS.

Running total now £227. There were a few days there where I was getting a bit bored (the Crayola, the toothpaste) but the last couple of days have brought it back for me. Hope it end strong.

Clinique! Full size! Very happy with todays, I hope it ends strong too. I had the urge this morning to open the few remaining but managed to rein it in Grin nearly there now.

Beadstar · 22/12/2019 09:49

Today’s looks good, though my hair doesn’t usually like coconut so I will wait till after Christmas to use it!

ashmts · 22/12/2019 10:00

I looove this! It was in there last year and I was hoping for it again this year. Been very tempted to buy the full size but it's a wee bit expensive. It made my hair really soft and smells absolutely gorgeous. The Sand and Sky face mask and Coco and Eve hair mask were my favourites from last year.

Coco and Eve hair mask (£6.50) - running total £233.50

Never used this, but love the smell! I look forward to trying it.
Thanks for the running total ashmts, it's interesting to see how it's all adding up.

TattiePants · 22/12/2019 13:33

This smells amazing and it gets brilliant reviews so can't wait to try it.

Beadstar · 23/12/2019 10:11

Happy with today’s - Laura Mercier is a good brand and it seems a decent size. Don’t often use powder but will be handy to have.

TattiePants · 23/12/2019 11:16

I have this in the full size and use it daily so it's the perfect makeup bag size.

ashmts · 23/12/2019 15:29

Didn't have much time this morning, is this loose powder? I don't tend to use that so will be good to try. Happy with the brand too.

This is worth £10 so we're at £244.50 by my calculations. I saw it advertised as worth £300 so either tomorrow is a belter or someone's at it Xmas Wink

£243.50 even! Maybe my calculations aren't great then Grin

Ah, a little bit of an anti climax! Never mind, I enjoyed a lot of the content. Will probably try a different one next year.

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you have a peaceful one. I'm off to start peeling the spuds 🥔 and get very merry.

Beadstar · 24/12/2019 13:47

Yes I agree. A brand that I haven’t tried before and looks a good product but not what I expected for the final box!

I’ve enjoyed it and have definitely had my monies worth - for the Elemis cream and a couple of other products alone.

Thank you Fucck, Merry Christmas to you and everyone else too!

Alsohuman · 24/12/2019 15:15

Mine is mostly being given away - three adult daughters/dils’ stockings - but it was worth it for the Elemis day cream and Clinique eye cream, both of which I’m keeping.

buckeejit · 24/12/2019 18:12

I loved this calendar. Basically bought it for the wet brush as I love them & liked whatever I saw In it ages ago. I adore the box it came in & think it's great value.

So much better than the jo Malone one dh bought me.

Happy Christmas everyone!

ashmts · 24/12/2019 21:46

Yeah they should have ended on the Clinique or some make up really. Ah well, I've definitely been pleased overall. I've been watching some of the other threads and I still think I made a good choice.

Merry Christmas everyone Xmas Smile
