Not sure if there are many people with this calendar but thought I'd start a thread just in case.

I'm happy with day 1. Not something I'm dying to use but it's a nice brand, full size, and I'll definitely get use out of it. I think that's a good start.

Mine is blue! Ichiban, lipstick for men.

Tbf I put it on for a laugh and it is really pigmented. I'd consider trying a red or pink shade, although just looked and they're £9 so maybe not.

I got a teal-y one and it looks quite nice as an eyeliner. But not something I’d necessarily have chosen

colaelf · 15/12/2019 11:03

A filler item today. What is this brush for, anyone know?

Beadstar · 15/12/2019 11:17

No idea. It looks pretty but no idea what I’ll use it for!

TattiePants · 15/12/2019 13:17

I think it’s for contouring (which I don’t do) and possibly highlighting.

ashmts · 15/12/2019 13:27

Googled it and it's for powder, highlighting or sweeping away eyeshadow that's fallen into your cheek apparently. I quite like it, we got a Luxie brush in the calendar last year and now I've got a set from them. This feels as nice.

I've forgotten to do the RRPs last few days. This costs £5 so takes us up to £177.

Hmm not the most exciting of products but I have wanted to try this so I’m quite happy.

TattiePants · 16/12/2019 11:45

I had the same reaction, not exciting but want to try it.

Beadstar · 17/12/2019 08:46

I’m very happy with today’s, I love a nice cleanser.

buckeejit · 17/12/2019 10:15

I don't suppose anyone has a photo of the top layer? Dd took it all out & I'd like it to get it back in but can't figure it out!

Beadstar · 17/12/2019 10:40

No, sorry, but I’ve just looked at google images and one comes up from the HuffPost which shows the top layer.

buckeejit · 17/12/2019 12:05

@Beadstar thank you! Missed that when I looked!

Looking forward to this cleanser, good re as a brand although it hasn't really taken off in a big way.

Beadstar · 17/12/2019 12:40

No problem. Was about to post the picture but wasn’t sure about copyright!

Yes I’ve tried and liked the face cream and radiance pads but you don’t hear much about the brand.

ashmts · 17/12/2019 19:49

Happy with another cleanser cos I'll use it but meh at the toothpaste.

Running total £185

Today’s is a bit boring for me because I’ve had so many of these from hotels. And I never use them!

Fucck · 18/12/2019 09:30

I'm fairly pleased with today as I've always wanted to try it, a friend uses this and says it really helps. I've used another spray that had ok results so I'm interested to see the comparison.

I see tomorrow's a biggie! 🤗

Beadstar · 18/12/2019 11:53

I hadn’t noticed! Xmas Grin

Beadstar · 19/12/2019 06:39

That was a bit of an anti-climax Grin

Seriously, I’m very happy that we got an intensive mask as it’s just what my skin needs but a one use sheet mask in that size box?! I’d much rather a tube.

Fucck · 19/12/2019 08:23

Yeah ☹️ I agree.
I do love a sheet mask though so I'll definitely enjoy giving it a whirl!

Just gave 20 a shake, I can't help myself. No idea though 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fucck · 20/12/2019 11:38

What do you think about todays then? Not entirely sure how to use it, no directions, but will google.
Am I right in thinking this a cheaper range they do? Never seen My Clarins in the shops. Happy to try, it's a good brand at least.

eatsleepmoverepeat · 20/12/2019 11:46

My Clarins is a newer range they launched in the summer aimed at younger skin. That being said I’m mid 30s and I’ve liked the products I’ve tried. The sleep mask is just like an intensive night moisturiser.

Beadstar · 20/12/2019 11:51

I’m happy with today’s. No idea about My Clarins but I like Clarins and I like moisturising masks so it’s a winner for me!

Fucck · 20/12/2019 13:49

I'm 37, not sure if I'm in the younger target group or not 😆 but will certainly give it a try!

Beadstar · 21/12/2019 09:27

Happy with today’s. Always used to forget to use eye cream but have been using it daily since getting one in the M&S calendar so I’ll keep it up now. Clinique is a good brand and it looks like it’s full size.

TattiePants · 21/12/2019 09:29

I’m just about to run out of my eye cream so this is very handy.
