Not sure if there are many people with this calendar but thought I'd start a thread just in case.

I'm happy with day 1. Not something I'm dying to use but it's a nice brand, full size, and I'll definitely get use out of it. I think that's a good start.

Really keen to try this too. It is on the pricey side so hope I don't love it too much!

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel - £14. Running total £89.50.

I tried the Mane n Tail this morning and actually it's made my hair really soft and swishy. Also used the Origins spot treatment on a big plook that appeared after heavy makeup at the weekend and it worked miracles! More or less gone in 24 hours

Really like this brand. Can't believe how good it's been so far!

TattiePants · 11/12/2019 08:19

I love Nars BUT this colour is so dark (from memory I think there were a couple of different colours) I’m not sure I’d ever use it.

Beadstar · 11/12/2019 08:22

Love today’s NARS lip colour pencil. I got ‘intriguing’ which is a lovely neutral on me. How do you get the rest out though (probably a silly question but it doesn’t look like you sharpen it and I can’t twist it...)?!

Beadstar · 11/12/2019 08:23

Mine is a fairly light colour which I’m pleased about as I’m pale.

Olive122 · 11/12/2019 08:42

I got the lighter colour too which I’m pleased with. @beadstar I think you do sharpen it, you do with the full size pencils anyway.

colaelf · 11/12/2019 08:46

I also got the intriguing colour - what did everyone else get?

TattiePants · 11/12/2019 08:50

I got Train Bleu, intriguing sounds more my colour but I’ll experiment mixing with another colour.

It looks like these were the colours.

Thank you Olive!

ashmts · 11/12/2019 12:07

I got Intriguing too. It is really neutral though, almost exactly the same as my lips so not sure it makes any difference. I'd probably have preferred the darker shade but this will be nice for work. Feels lovely on anyway.

Also it seems to be almost full size which is great. Running total £106. Really really impressed with this calendar this year.

I got the dark one and it’s really nice on!

Fucck · 11/12/2019 13:02

I got the dark one, I'll give it a go but I think it's too dark for me 😕

buckeejit · 11/12/2019 17:30

I got intriguing - love it & rarely buy myself a neutral as always go for orangey reds. I e had my money's worth from this calendar already 😁

Beadstar · 12/12/2019 07:53

Today’s is amazing! And will bump up the value of the calendar a bit!

TattiePants · 12/12/2019 08:23

Today’s moisturiser was the reason I bought this calendar. I’m really pleased with it.

ashmts · 12/12/2019 09:55

I had only glanced over the contents before I bought and didn't realise this was in there. Really excited to try this as I've heard good things.

This is worth £55 apparently (Elemis pro-collagen marine cream 30ml) so contents worth £161 and we're only halfway through!

Hmm I don’t use wipes so I’ve put these in my travel bag for emergencies. Unless someone comes along and says they’re amazing!

Fucck · 13/12/2019 09:34

I rushed out yesterday for a full days Christmas shopping and forgot to open the calendar so this morning I had two to open.

The Elemis cream looks great, I'm very happy with that one 👍🏽
I was wearing makeup yesterday (a rarity for daytime) and ended up being a bit rushed with the removal last night because I was exhausted and was dreaming of my bed so I tested out the wipes almost immediately after opening the calendar this morning. They're quite scratchy in a 'good dose of exfoliation' way, which was just what I felt I needed. They're black wipes and I wondered if they'd leave a grey residue but they don't at all. Only issue is that they feel a bit dry, not enough product in them imo. Might buy if I saw them at a reasonable price.

Fucck · 13/12/2019 19:31

I thought the wipes today were a sample size but it appears not, just googled for more info and they do in fact come in 10s. Not for everyday use then! 😬

ashmts · 13/12/2019 21:32

£2 worth today Grin I suppose it balances out our treat yesterday. I'm also just going to keep them for nights away when I don't want to take a cleanser. I do quite like the 'yes to such and such' stuff.

OP posts:
colaelf · 14/12/2019 08:41

Hmm what colour did people get today? Mine is gray. Quite confused about what it is, is it a concealer? Confused

Olive122 · 14/12/2019 09:00

I got grey too, I assumed it was an eyeshadow.

TattiePants · 14/12/2019 09:56

Mine is green. I think you can use it anywhere on your face but green is only going to work as an eyeliner (unless I keep it till Halloween!)

Beadstar · 14/12/2019 10:40

I’m a bit Hmm at the green crayon today. No chance of me using it!
