Beauty Advent Calendars 2019

It’s almost that time again! Anyone have their eye on anything?

I’m waiting on the M&S one as I loved it so much last year (no sign of it so far but I suspect it will be similar to 2018 for release date, so around start of November). I also like the look of the Look Fantastic and Nuxe but three may be pushing it. Grin

If money was no object I’d be on the Jo Malone and Lush calendars.

Oh! My M&S advent calendar arrived! So excited, really enjoyed opening it last year and enjoyed the thread on here almost as much! Can anyone direct me to the dedicated thread? Perhaps it's not there yet. Just want to pmk.

Interesting to see the liberty calendar still hasn’t sold out online, wonder if it’s advent calendar fatigue kicking in.....

Not sure...I think if the contents are different people will go for it. I have already tried some of the things in Liberty so didn't buy. I passed over others for the same reason. I kind of wish I had got Space NK as the products are ones I've not tried but couldn't justify the expense now.

Liberty have increased (I think doubled)? their advent calendar stock this year, I read that a few weeks ago

There were loads of the No7 Boots ones in my local store today - I bought it with my points so no cash spent!
Can’t wait to open it.

I think the Liberty calendar looks fantastic but once you have purchased it a few times it gets a bit repetitive. I now get the Liberty gift with purchase or use items from another advent calendar to refill one of the Liberty Calendars I already have. I get DS to do it so I still get a surprise.

I actually think Liberty are missing a trick and they could bring out a refill pack for those who want to recycle. I can't imagine anyone would throw the empty calendar away. It is solid and so pretty. Whereas the M&S, Debenhams etc are more flimsy.

The M&S calendar looks brilliant this year. Just had a peek at the contents on the ReallyRee site and I would use everything in it. Not often I can say that. I bought it along with some pants and socks for my girls which they needed. It's a bargain. Can't wait for the thread December.

Just a heads up for anyone who might be here from the SEN boards and wondering how to spend the £25 to get the beauty calendar, M&S have recently introduced a fantastic "Easy Dressing" range.

Bodysuits which my 14 yr old DS has to wear are just £3! Also they are now doing larger onsie style jammies but they have poppers on the legs so easy access for nappies/tubes etc. They are just £7!

Whilst I am here, has anyone got/ordered the Men's NEXT advent calendar?

Thinking of getting it for my lovely DH.

I am also looking at the Mankind one which is avail to preorder now but is considerably more.

Anyone have any advice? Thanks.

I've just ordered the M&S one. I had it for the first time last year and it was amazing - made me so happy! So excited about this year's one... For those of you who haven't had the M&S one before, I'd recommend following the thread on here as you open each day, it just adds to the enjoyment!

If anyone is interested the Holland & Barrett advent is showing as in stock again online, despite it saying that it has sold out?!

I've just ordered mine and did it through Topcashback as there is a 20% cashback today.

Just hope it comes!

The Next one is fantastic value. I have tried most of the products in it and they really are well worth getting. A brilliant calendar for anyone, especially a younger person.

Are there 2 as the one I saw costs £30 and is worth £50. There are much better value ones than that around. It is obviously geared at teens.

The Next one is £65! The contents are really good I think. The Amazon one at £50 also looks fab for a younger person too (well, everyone really).
