Beauty Advent Calendars 2019

It’s almost that time again! Anyone have their eye on anything?

I’m waiting on the M&S one as I loved it so much last year (no sign of it so far but I suspect it will be similar to 2018 for release date, so around start of November). I also like the look of the Look Fantastic and Nuxe but three may be pushing it.

If money was no object I’d be on the Jo Malone and Lush calendars.

I think the m and s one might be the best option if I do get one. It does seem to have a lot of other brands in there--maybe a chance for me to start looking after my skin!

So hold up - you only have to buy something cheap to get the Debenhams calendar? Will Quidco work on it...?

@writersblock2 yes, you could find the cheapest beauty item in Debenhams (someone up threat bought a foundation pump) and the calendar becomes half price. However, if there's something £10 or more that you actually want, you'll get free delivery and £10 of beauty points. I used Top Cash Back so I would imagine Quidco will work.

The Amazon one will come down to 30 around
Black Friday. I would bet my boots on it.

Can't believe I just went and bought the Debenhams one on the basis of the last few posts. I will see about getting the M&S one next week also but I might need to hide one in work as kids will think they should be getting two also.

I'd imagine that it will be back in stock again soon. They were still there in December last year.

I am definitely getting the M&S one as I always do and maybe the Amazon one if it goes on offer on Black Friday as both look good value

I’ve got the Look fantastic and the Harrods and will get M&S next week. I also have a Lindt one and a gin one

The Lumene calendar is calling to me. I was going to order it from Look Fantastic as I have an account with them already. But I've not ordered from them often, and find they are extremely coy on their website about what delivery company they use. Does anyone know? I'm not keen on ordering if it's Hermes.

I to the Lumene calendar (again) this year. Lovely box. Arrived this week. I think I ordered from allbeauty.com and found a 10% off their site voucher which worked. Pretty sure it was Royal Mail...

Yes it is royal mail, but the advent cal and last box for glossy came via hermes because of a royal mail strike apparently. Hopefully all sorted now

Debenhams are doing well. I ordered pretty much 24 hours ago, it's already been dispatched and is with the courier. I wonder if it'll arrive tomorrow? Not bad for free delivery!

I really enjoyed the thread last year where the OP was very funny about the contents. I have never bought a non chocolate advent calendar before and would like to join in. I am only up to August 31st at reading this thread having only seen it last night at bedtime but didn't want to lose it as I think it will be a good read as well as informative.

Soooo I've decided to get M & S for myself when it comes out next week.

I love the look of the Holland and Barrett one so I've asked DH for that for Christmas - planning to open it in January yeah right! - however I know it's sold out online.

So should I a) grab it in store if I can at the weekend full price, or b) hold out in case it comes back online and find a discount code/use Top Cash Back? Does anyone know if it might be cheaper on Black Friday?

Regarding M & S ... is it really bad to buy any d think for the qualifying spend with the intention of returning but keeping the calendar? And can I go to a different till on the same day?!!!

Ordered my M&S one on Sparks offer, bought a bra and some cords as had 20% offers on both of these, looks like I can pick them up on Sunday though it does say the advent calendar may come separately so maybe not until Thursday for that.

I returned something last year as it did not fit and it seemed all OK.
