Cherries those sunglasses are fab! I bought some M&S ones last summer and I really rate the quality. They really suit you, not too big at all.

Am rather cross... I allowed myself to be bamboozled by salesperson at our Boots equivalent who talked me out of the el cheapo The Ordinary Vitamin C serum which I’ve been quite happy with, and I purchased the much more expensive La Roche Posay one. I wear it under moisturiser and sunscreen as it is supposed to make spf work better, etc.... Seems it oxidises rather brilliantly. I now resemble that horrid man from America, and my brand new “Just Say it in French” t-shirt has an orange stain around the neck. This is what happens when you go shopping on your birthday and you feel old and vulnerable!!!

justi Happy Birthday!! 🎂 maybe you can go back to the shop and ask for a refund? Just because the cream is not suitable for you/gave you hives and stained your t shirt. You do look lovely in all your buys, I only own 2 logo t shirts (err except my Harley Davidson biker T’s) but I do really like them on you and the dress really is gorgeous on you. Thanks Ladies - I think I’m more horrified that I left the house looking ok, and returned looking like a Trumpista, not a Hushista!!! Retail therapy today was two hideously expensive scented candles that had been re-released just in time for my birthday yesterday. I’m not going to burn them. I’m going to keep them for ever!!!

@huff, yes, they are from tesco. They really are much nice in real life too. Lovely flattering fit and only £18. Only downside - no pockets but hey ho at the price you just cant be too picky.

Love the star print culottes - these are a 10 and I’m happy with the size. They feel fine on the waist band.
The Jayne dress I absolutely love.. I was hoping I wouldn’t like one of them as I can’t really afford both but I want to keep them as both are lovely.
Also these black wide leg cropped trousers from H&M, nice but maybe a bit formal? What do you all think?

The star print culottes are beautiful! Would you say they are true to size @Ellapaella? I’m a 10ish on the bottom (probably an 11 if there was such a size!)

Exactly the same as me @Gilbert82 I between sizes and these are a good fit, they are a 10. Reviews say they come up big but I find them fine.

I think both starry culottes and H&M trousers look fab on you so couldn’t decide between the two. Both so easy to dress up or down (don’t think the H&M are so formal either but could be made to look more formal with a shirt). In any case you could wear with boots well into late autumn so I say keepers.
The dress is simplicity at its best and so flattering that you must keep too!

My Kensington starry dress (same fabric as culottes?) has arrived and the 10 is fine I think?
There’s a minuscule I mean minuscule you have to look really hard but I’m hyper critical boob gap in the widest part of my boobs which could easily be sorted with a clip on thingy but otherwise inclined to keep. 12 is ooo in any case.
I’m going to try my old Kensington in a 12 and post below for comparison

So I think I’ll return the starry 10 and keep an eye on the site for a return, love the starry fabric and it’s the only shape Hush dress (with the Greek widow and Jamie) that I’ve kept so far but if not they’ll be new versions to try in the autumn.

@SoyYo have been looking at those products with interest for dd. She currently uses Cantu shampoo which is supposed to be CG approved (although I know strictly speaking you shouldn't use any shampoo!) and the 80p Tesco conditioner which everyone seems to love. Two weeks to go until her CG cut! She has a party on Sunday and really wants it straightened. I know it's not good for her hair but she feels so meh about it I'm going to do it for her as a one off.

Thanks @twosoups1972 they are Hush - the new stock, selling out pretty fast so glad I got them. @SoyYo yes I'm going to keep it all as I really like it all, couldn't really choose what to send back to be honest. The dress was £40 in the sale so definitely keeping and the culottes are lovely - such a lovely material and very comfortable.
