Couldn't think of any sort of creative title, I'm afraid! Link to old thread

curlyworld.com/products
whisky it’s the “with or without hue” conditioner but in UK only available from Lorraine’s trained hairdressers (shipping charges from US website I linked to make it ridiculously expensive).
If you’re interested I can pm you details of the cg people that sell and ship in the U.K. and I’ll let you know what I think after the new hairdresser uses on me next week.
The terms and conditions conditioner is seriously good too 👌

SoyYo · 11/07/2019 22:57

binky that is such a stylish and happy stripy dress! Beautiful shape too! Do report back please

justilou1 · 11/07/2019 23:29

Loving the sunnies the Lillie combo, @ilovecherries! You look like a movie star on holidays, so I’d say your ambition to achieve maximum radiance has been achieved! Do sunglasses come with an spf rating in the UK? (They do in Australia.... just wondering how it worked there.)
Everyone’s purchases are fabulous!!! Love the Hush culottes, @slipperyeel!!! I would definitely get some of them for wearing to university, if I didn’t live in the other side of the planet. (Am still horrified at what some people think is appropriate to wear to Uni/in public, but admit that I am definitely an old fuddy duddy....)
So.... about my parcels. Aussie Post (predictably) did it again. Despite being home all day yesterday, hurled two notices in my letterbox saying “Sorry you weren’t home, we tried to deliver.” and I have to potter up to the post office this morning to collect them. Lazy buggers didn’t even try!!! So infuriating!!!

justilou1 · 12/07/2019 01:30

Teaser - only half the stuff was at the post office. 🙄 Also please excuse decapitation. My son was the photographer and doesn’t believe in advanced warnings. I also had the world’s worst case of “Hat Hair” from my walk to the post office to collect.... The trousers are old, but the sneakers, tees and dress are new. I thought the tees were a bit amusing and totally outside my usual comfort zone. Not usually one for signage across my boobages. Am going to need a much less soggy bra!

Part two! Dress will be lived in over summer! One of those ones you wash, wrinkle up, then hang on a hanger while wet. Love! (May yet return for the black one) The wolf t-shirt is Ivy Dog, obviously. She was very put out that my son wasn’t taking her photo as well. I had to explain she was on my shirt, and was quite a famous Hushista already.... what a diva!

Hmm despite being on holiday I do seem to have managed to ordered rather a lot, andnow, thinking of what kind of autumn style I fancy , I have ordered this jumper now as well .The trouble is that for the look I have in my head i think I may just end up getting the £££ Toast denim skirt rather than keeping the bargainous M&S one.
Saw on the news that 7 people were killed in that huge storm we had...it was massive ,but we were about 150 miles away from the centre it seems... It must have been humongous there.

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2019 06:40

just I like the Ts ,also your rust trousers

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2019 06:41

And also love the Tesco wave trousers never, they are really fab

Binkybix · 12/07/2019 07:00

Nice stuff just! My favs are the dress (in which you look gorgeous) and the ‘frites’ T-shirt.

never am teetering on getting those star troos. From a distance, would you say you can tell they’re stars?

neveradullmoment99 · 12/07/2019 07:13

They are not in your face stars. They are pretty. Im not sure you can tell they are stars from far.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/07/2019 07:17

Keep the m and s one. Honestly its lovely and its long. Get the toast one but for £10 you might as well keep it!

neveradullmoment99 · 12/07/2019 07:18

@justilou1 love the tees. The dress is also lovely. All keepers😀😀

neveradullmoment99 · 12/07/2019 07:20

Love that jumper @Laska2Meryls. Gorgeous but still pricey. All the same, its beautiful.

whiskyremorse · 12/07/2019 07:31

@soy yes please for the stockist list and your review of the coloured conditioner!

Binkybix · 12/07/2019 08:21

Thanks never

Will report back on the dress when it arrives, soy. I fear the shape may not be as wonderful once I’m in it! Grin

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2019 08:21

It is pricey never but Im hoping, a classic pice. I have really rated Toast stuff this last year, it did seem to lose it for a while..
But what I do like are the natural fabrics and quality of the finish, Hush really have gone downhill on this.. notibly the stitching ( esp lables which you can often see on the outside now, and which was so appalling on the navy wren I had to redo)

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2019 08:25

But Toast prices (and Jigsaw ,which I also really like mean realistically I can really only buy in sales, or just one piece a season , and as you know I am not very good at that!! GrinWink

neveradullmoment99 · 12/07/2019 08:36

I know what you mean about the labels. I was just putting something away and had to do a double take on the labels they were so shoddy.
The quality isn't consistent. The moritz jeans are superb! I have worn them loads this year. Everything I have ordered from toast has been beautiful quality. I agree, all lovely materials without a hint of polyester. I can realistically only afford one item [not sale] probably every pad day. Its a shame. Wish they did some of those archive sales at rock bottom prices.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/07/2019 08:40

*pay day
I can afford one thing and nothing else. Today I am wearing my toast purply blue long linen dress. Its a little neat on the bust in this colour strangely. It wasn't in the other one. Anway, hope to lose it after the holidays so no point in sizing up.
I have a toast parcel coming today. Sale stuff. The cream paisley pattern blouse and another houndstooth like long linen dress but that is in a medium. I also ordered the novesta trainers [ I know I know I already have them in two colours] but these are in that gorgeous electric blue. I have searched online and they don't seem to sell them anywhere or only in mens sizes so I have ordered them as I love them.

ilovecherries · 12/07/2019 08:56

binky, that’s a lovely dress. just, you look great.

cherries those sunglasses are super col. You look like a film star.

Laughing at just's sheepskin bra. It would be lovely and comfy though, especially in the winter!

ilovecherries · 12/07/2019 10:21

Haha, fuzzy, as I was sashaying down to the PO this morning wearing the glasses and a floppy hat, this workman shouted off his scaffolding ‘morning, Greta!’ He was only young too, so I was quite impressed by his awareness!

Love that jumper @Laska2Meryls getting a piece of Toast knitwear is my winter goal this year. Even if it means o can only buy one jumper I want to get it from Toast. So sick of buying poor quality knitwear, this year I want to invest in decent quality.

I'm at work today but my Hush parcel is out for delivery- hopefully a nice neighbour will take it for me or I'll have to collect from the sorting office tomorrow.

Ellapaella · 12/07/2019 11:25

PS @justilou1 loving your buys. Tiger tee is fab

Laska2Meryls · 12/07/2019 11:29

Bit of a Hard day here....(sorry)
