Couldn't think of any sort of creative title, I'm afraid! Link to old thread

Welcome home Soups ( finally!!)

Laska2Meryls · 26/07/2019 14:51

....... Plumo can justify their prices because they offer a 'curated' collection apparently😂

Laska2Meryls · 26/07/2019 14:52

....of stuff you can buy cheaper elsewhere if you look, that is...

Huffthepuff · 26/07/2019 14:54

Gudrun jacket is here. Very pleased with my first Gudrun purchase! It's quite fine cotton but a lovely coverup and light enough to take on hols 😊

I have been unfaithful. I have a (ahem) substantial Toast haul in my office till I make a final decision on it (ie convince myself to keep it all!)

Oohh exciting @cherries is that your first Toast order?

dontcallmelen · 26/07/2019 16:19

never so sorry it’s very very hard not to be touched by such tragedy I can entirely emphasis, I have got worse over the years barely read newspapers or watch the news as awful things reported sometimes just makes me cry, unfortunately have had some awful stuff happen in my family & it does leave a mark💐 hope you feel a little better soon xx
soups crikey what a mission, hope dd is happy with her new haircut🤞🏻
cherries you naughty unfaithful women😂 sure the toast stuff will look fabulous.
Huff love love the Gudren top👍🏼

halfgirlhalfturnip · 26/07/2019 19:07

Thank you @Laska2Meryls, I bought an additional top with the saving 😍

dontcallmelen · 26/07/2019 19:13

Ella meant to commiserate earlier with the dry eyes & ouchy ££ new glasses, must admit I do love Tom Ford stuff though, my dd gets daily disposable contact lenses that she orders online, I think they are much cheaper than chemist etc I can ask her who with if you want any info.

Ellapaella · 26/07/2019 19:16

Thanks Len but my eyes are too dry for them - got a few things apparently - penguiculae, scleritis and something else can't remember the name of! Am having something done to clean the glands in my eyes soon (🤢). I'm fine with specs - I quite like wearing them.

Ellapaella · 27/07/2019 09:14

Morning Brew
Picked my parcels up bright and early..
so the espadrilles I love and seem to be a comfortable fit (they look tiny so was surprised)
Toast jumper - love it but it's not generous at all! It's a very neat fit but I do love it so keeping. I wouldn't keep at the original price of £145!Confused

Sorry one of those pics was meant to show my shoes... they are very nice. Got 20% off too so good price and very good quality.

dontcallmelen · 27/07/2019 09:18

Ella ooh hope it gets sorted very soon, glasses are much less faffy & bet the Tom Ford ones will be very stylish, the jumper is lovely as are the espadrilles👍🏼

ilovecherries · 27/07/2019 09:19

You look fabulous as always, ella.

It’s raining here just now :(. Not dressed yet, but I think it will be a jeans and teeshirt day.

dontcallmelen · 27/07/2019 09:21

Well I have just realised how much I have spent over the last few weeks.
So am going to manacle myself to the no spend bench, swallow the key & not cut myself free till at least October 😢

Ellapaella · 27/07/2019 09:22

I love the jumper so much I might only buy my knitwear from Toast from now on. Also love that it came in paper packaging not plastic.

dontcallmelen · 27/07/2019 09:23

Raining here as well & probably only about 21deg, it’s bloody bliss after the last few days, definitely jeans T-shirt & raincoat when I go out later.

dontcallmelen · 27/07/2019 09:23

Is it itchy Ella or ok?

Ellapaella · 27/07/2019 09:27

It looks like it would be and when I took it out the bag my heart sank as I'm so sensitive to wool but actually it's not itching or scratching at all.

Ellapaella · 27/07/2019 09:28

Raining here too.. feels comfortable today. Youngest DS has just been sick twice so looks like a sofa day for us!

Huffthepuff · 27/07/2019 09:40

Jumper looks gorgeous @Ellapaella 😍 it's different to mine. I really like the ribbing on the neckline. So pleased you like it. The shoes are fab! They will be so useful

Raining hard here too. Great for the garden! Our courgettes are becoming enormous!

neveradullmoment99 · 27/07/2019 10:35

Lovely jumper and sandals👍

NotAnActualSheep · 27/07/2019 10:49

Well - I think its fair to say the weather has changed. Pissing it down here today - but we have nothing to do so its all good.

Sorry your DS is ill ella - yy, sofa day sounds good. The jumper is lovely. I think I may have that one too Blush Is it this one ? As always, it looks much cooler on you though! I do love it - I have lots of baggier ones so fancied one that was a bit neater and shorter for skirts/ wider legged trousers. Such soft wool - I got another (thinner) lambswool one from them last year and it just gets softer with washing. Beautiful. So glad the espadrilles work too.

huff - that gudrun jacket is lush! Such a nice cover-up and really unusual. it works so well with what you are wearing in the photo.

never - Sounds like it was actually quite easy for you to decide what to send back in the end! The paisley dress and top are indeed beautiful. At least you know how the others fit now if they go in the sale...

soups - Glad you got back eventually! Sounds like you were caught up in the heat-related-travel-chaos. What a pain for you!! How did DDs curly cut go in the end? Is she pleased with it? (you must all have been knackered!)

laska - Haha - I'm like that too. i think I'll drop off their friends list or something if I don't buy frequently enough! They have got us hooked, haven't they...

cherries - yay for Toast...! I think we are all going to need to move up an income bracket to afford this new habit...

Waves to halfgirl (or is it halfturnip today? Grin) Glad you managed to get referred. What did you buy in the end? Like your style of using the discount to buy something else...that is very much the right mindset for this thread i fear!

len - Can you swallow my key for the bench as well please?! I'm feeling the superglue coming loose.

NotAnActualSheep · 27/07/2019 10:54

Oh yes, cat is installed in the house, but has spent the majority of the time under our bed (in amongst the fluffballs and hidden hush boxes that DH should never have known about...). Photo is just before she found the bed...will try to get a better one later. I think she came out overnight though and pulled some of my socks out of a drawer that was ajar...which bodes well. Hope she finds litter tray soon.
