It’s just a good dark colour and goes with everything I wear, really, so I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll like it (I size up because of boobs which often means shoulders are too big, so we’ll have to see how it is for fit).

Ella I got my oasis denim jacket on the next site, I think it’s the same as the one nink posted, envious of the pool could definitely do with a bigger pool here I’m melting & sliding off the garden chairs.
Yy I have given up trying to keep up with the toast purchases, all sound lovely though.
Soy yep me & you I fear are waaay too short, to carry off the chic orphan look😂

@Ninkaninus I have a size eight in mine & fits nicely can wear a lightweight jumper under it, it’s a got a bit stretch as well which helps.

Soy the people opposite me are the same, just completed a massive wrap round extension downstairs & a loft conversion lord knows what they do with all the space, swingers I reckon😂

Hahaha soy - so useful to have your own in-house handyman (even though he does need frequent topping up with drinks and doesn't have a logo'd polo shirt.. ). Our neighbours are also having an extension, though sadly their builders went bust a few weeks ago, so they are left with a half finished shell, a portaloo (clean, luckily) and a skipful of construction waste....meant to check with them how they were getting on with finding a replacement. Even when working they were a LOT quieter than my men today though...

Wise to stay off the toast website, I think. They seem to have had a dump of returns etc back onto their sale pages today, and there are some good bargains. I agree there is some really nice stuff ella - esp the knitwear and yes, trousers/ jeans. lol at "chic orphan"! I think a lot of that feel is generated by the grumpy models ...I reckon the actual clothes work for "normal' people with curves better, though. I was dubious when I discovered them (through this thread...) and have been very pleasantly and expensively surprised. They do say the things are designed to fit 5'6" though (odd - as I'd have thought many people are taller than that, and surely its easier to shorten than lengthen), which is how tall i am - so I may just be lucky! Like it though!

Yes never - the drive is unrecognisable from this morning! We were developing a bit of a wildflower meadow in the corners and its now lovely and clean and stark and boring! But the woodlice seem to have been terrified and have come inside to recuperate.

Here they are - having a great time and keeping cool in this terrible heat 🥵

Oh - and my neighbours DEFINITELY aren't swingers len or at least we haven't been invited

Not over the road keeps Dh entertained for hours, all the comings n goings & they are constantly patrolling the road making sure no one parks outside (they don’t have a drive) & if someone dares they box them in.

Well there have been a few arguments over the inflatables.. youngest one is very tired and irritable and a bit on the edge this evening! Roll on bed time...

Looking at it, its really much nicer than that photo shows. Its just I have the light behind me.

I think I will probably just return it and hang out for the sale. Its still £120 so pretty pricey.

I am just in, boiling hot, its been blistering in the office today, its an old warehouse with a flat roof turned into offices, lovely on the outside, by the river on an old wharf but has , tiny windows and no air con, .. I am about to go have a cool shower.. I miss our Greek 'home' on the beach wish it was ours

Its hot here to today but not as hot as you have it. I think its meant to be a bit cloudy tomorrow but still hot. Thursday is going to the hottest. I have a funeral to go to - a child. Its going to be grim.

Its doing without the pool that is hard when its hot. I think a pool makes all the difference.

It seems to have got hotter here in the last hour, the bit of a breeze we had has disappeared, am slightly dreading Thursday as temperatures are meant to peak at possibly 37/38 deg I don’t mind the heat but that’s a bit bonkers.

I think we all need to go to @ellas and dive in her pool Its meant to be 27 here on Thursday! That is hot for us.

37/38 is what I was when we were in Italy. You could literally walk nowhere it was so hot. I remember taking the kids out and got as far the bottom of my aunts drive and ended up turning back. It was just far too hot.

I think I will get dgd paddling pool out tomorrow & sit in myself until I pick her from nursery, then we can fight who’s getting in it first😂
