Great styling, @ilovecherries!!! You’ll be perfect in Skandi Mode! (I adore Scandinavia and would love to live in any of those countries!!!)
Love the Broderie top too, @dontcallmelen!!! Looks so fresh!!!

SoyYo · 04/07/2019 14:11

Oh such a pretty top (weak spot for broderie) len!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 14:38

Hello everyone! I agree you are looking supertrim @soyo. Well done!
Love the outfit @ilovecherries. It suits you so much.
Gorgeous top @dontcallmelen. Also love broderie :)
Well, as for me, I had my hair done. It was quite bizarre though. Went to my local hairdresser and after phoning to make an appointment I went down and the shutters were down so it look like it had closed down! Stood there and waited until well after the time a bit confused and then decided to phone. Seemingly they have closed down but another hairdresser that has opened up nearby has taken the clients so the calls are being redirected to them. So eventually I got my hair done. It would have been nice if they had reduced the price although tbh, they are a local hairdresser so only cost me £30 which is not bad. They did a really nice job of it. So I am now sporting a 'lob'. Long bob for those not familiar with the term. I really like it. I was ready for a new look.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 14:40

@Laska2Meryls that is beautiful scenery. How long are you away for? Looks fantastic there. We were meant to be going to France but didn't realise the kids passports were going to expire so we cancelled and are going to Cornwall instead! Pray for sun please :)

dontcallmelen · 04/07/2019 15:12

never crikey that was a mission, glad you are happy with cut.
Aww what a shame, hopefully sun will shine for you in cornwall🤞🏻

twosoups1972 · 04/07/2019 16:15

@ilovecherries you look soooo stylish Smile

twosoups1972 · 04/07/2019 18:30

@dontcallmelen such a pretty top, lovely and summery.

@neveradullmoment99 how strange! But glad to hear they did a good job, it's always lovely when you're happy with your hair.

I have spent this afternoon shopping with dd2 (again!) for last minute bits she needs for her holiday. She needed new trainers (which were a belated birthday present) and sandals. The trainers we sorted quite easily but sandals were more difficult as she needs good ankle support and she has very narrow, shallow feet. After trying loads of shops, she found a pair that fit the bill in Kurt Geiger. A reasonably priced shop I thought. I had a fit when I went to pay and was told they were £129!! Didn't know what to do as we had exhausted other options and dd is going on Tuesday so time is getting short. I bought them and thought I could return them within a fortnight if necessary. Dd was lovely and is now feeling a bit guilty about how much they cost.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 18:52

Oh I love those sandals. I have seen them before and thought they were stunning @twosoups I would keep them for myself!!!

Ellapaella · 04/07/2019 18:53

Looking good cherries 👌

Love the top len. - have a very similar one from NL, in fact I've bought an abundance of white tops this summer but they go with so much.

Never Cornwall will be fab! Where are you going? Will you fly or brave the drive down?

Ellapaella · 04/07/2019 18:53

@Laska2Meryls stop making me jealous! Looks so lovely where you are.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:01

@Ellapaella we are going to a place near Padstow. Much of my childhood was spent there and we went to Cornwall loads when my older dc were growing up so I know it really well. My younger children went when they were very young and when I was pregnant with my oldest dd, but they don't remember a thing about it so it will be new to them. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I have to say that I am sadly missing going through to Italy. Its so chilly here, especially today and SO overcast.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:03

Oh and we always brave the 9 hours down but we are hardened travellers so it will be a breeze.

twosoups1972 · 04/07/2019 19:04

@never are you going to Bedruthan Steps??

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:14

We haven't really planned anything yet but will probably go there :)

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:16

We've kind of been to loads of places tbh. We have done the Bedruthen steps, various castles, Eden project, Lost gardens of Helligan but the kids haven't although I have to say the prices are really shocking for entry! It will cost us about £70 odd pound to get in to the eden project if we go.

twosoups1972 · 04/07/2019 19:16

I meant the hotel! We had many a happy holiday at that hotel when the dds were small. I recommend walking down to the steps, the beach is lovely there. And the cafe at the top does a great cream tea 😃

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:17

If its nice, hoping to spend a bit of time on the beach!

twosoups1972 · 04/07/2019 19:18

I wasn’t a big fan of the Eden project. Loved Lost Gardens of Heligan though. We have a picture of the dds pretending to be mud maids 😂

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:18

And the cafe at the top does a great cream tea 😃 OMG I forgot about Cornish cream teas...yum!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:19

Any other recommendations would be great :)

FuzzyPuffling · 04/07/2019 19:20

Oooh never you'll be quite near me. Wave on the way past! (It is boiling hot here today if that cheers you up at all)

len I love that top - very pretty indeed.

twosoups1972 · 04/07/2019 19:20

Cycling the Camel Trail is fab. You can hire bikes in Padstow.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:21

Oh and the beautiful town of St Ives and Falmouth, St Mawgen and Mawgen porth beach and Truro... Happy memories.

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2019 19:22

Yes, love to go cycling....must make a list!!!! note to self, camel trail...
